From the warm welcome when I arrived to the comfortable room to the lovely staff in the lobby lounge restaurant - the ANA crowne plaza was a winner. I had a wonderful stay. I have nothing but thanks and praise for the staff and their friendliness. Breakfast is sustaining and delicious. I recommend the bespoke omelettes. The lobby lounge is delightful and there is a pianist on Saturday afternoon. The reception and concierge staff are so helpful. Great experience - would definitely return.

Great location right across from Nijo Caste; paid (a lot) extra for castle view room which was a little disappointing as it was a limited view partially obstructed by the lower floors of hotel.
Despite advertised numerous in house restaurants, they required booking ahead and very limited opening hours. Chose this hotel based on several earlier visits many years ago, but decor becoming very dated although still functional bathrooms etc.

The bus to train station was a nice convenience. Room was very clean except shower/bath had mold stains.
Missed the pool and fitness center. Room was very clean except shower/bath had mold stains. They did not give me liquid shower gel until last day. I prefer that over bar soap.
