The room was nice and private and beautifully furnished although simple and sparsely decorated. IT was spacious enough for us as a family of four although the beds were small and an adult slept with a child as we are not used to beds of that size. The Co located cafe and shops were nice and it was good to have a little gym. Overall it was a fun stay and loved the interiors by David Flack in the breakfast room.
Bigger beds and a more well appointed gym breakfast was too expensive to be worth the money for us.

Vibe was chic, handy info in arrival for the Gion festival, the staff favourite nearby food options, cycling paths etc. Generally approachable staff and superb location. Room configuration worked to accommodate children in connecting room. Would recommend. Made our Kyoto stay even more special.
