The property was clean and big as compared to hotels in Tokyo. They gave us heaps of free drinks and sweets where other accomodations we stayed in just offered basic water freebies.
Being a smaller company as opposed to big hotels, the service and interaction with the staff were very genuine and personalised.
They are also flexible and very accomodating to our individual needs which the big ones probably wouldn’t do.
Rather than “what I didn’t like”, I’d like to use “what is lacking”: they did not have an in-house laundry so it was a bit of a hassle going to the coin laundry shop that’s a few blocks away.

I liked everything. This is now one of my favorite hotels and that’s from someone who travels internationally often.
I wish it was more visible or easier to find but after the first day, it was insignificant because we knew where we were.
