We stayed a week at this comfortable, friendly, and well-managed hotel, conveniently next door to a Family Mart and the Marutamachi subway station, with bus stops steps away. In its own right, the area is walkable and interesting, and the public transportation will take you anywhere else you want to go. The western beds are very comfortable, coffee, tea, and snacks are free and replenished daily, and the breakfast buffet is bountiful. Special kudos to the cleaners, who left our room sparkling each day. In the oppressive Kyoto summer heat, the hotel's ample AC was most welcome. The front desk staff, who speak English, could not have been more helpful.
