Clean room, friendly staff and great perks such as a free shuttle bus to the golden temple and bamboo forest. The hotel is situated in a good location too.

Location is hard to beat with walking distance to Nijo Castle & Kyotogyoen, sun=bway staion, 7-Elevens, Sukiya; free shuttle to Arashiyama and Kinkuji is truly icing on the cake. Great selection at breakfast with Japanese and Western-style cuisine. Rooms are on the small side but par the course with other Japanese hotels. Bathroom is really nice and sparkling clean with shower and Japanese soaking tub.
