Très bon séjour, endroit très agréable et personnel très accueillant.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à los amigos hostel. Endroit très sympa, bonne ambiance, très bien placé dans flores. Le personnel était très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider.

Les toilettes et les douches sont au niveau du coin de vie de l’auberge, il faut donc tout traverser pour rejoindre le dortoir

Great potential ruined by rude staff

Comfortable beds, nice facilities to meet people, not a party hostel.

If you feel like overpaying while being treated like dirt, do come here. Staff made sure to always let you know what an annoyance you are to them. Best case scenario youd be grunted at or just not spoken to. They charge 10% to pay with card because they are just not greedy enough with room prices. They get annoyed when you decide to pay in cash and didn't have proper change available. They charged us 67 euro a night for a two bed private where the shower didn't have hot water. Asking them to fix it, resulted in being smirked at with a knowing smile. They then let us know to just let it run 10 or 20 minutes or longer. Coming and going does only warrant annoyed faces because they have to open the door again. The restaurant closes at 11 and if you habend finished at 11 you get told on a second basis that you must leave instantly. Not friendly, but in an annoyed tone that lets you know you were never welcome to begin with. Unfortunately a place that has all the potential ruined by its staff and manager that really could not care less about their customers.

Absolut Empfehlenswert

Trotz Partyhostel konnte mann ab 22 Uhr ruhig schlafen! Das Restaurant ist der absolute Hammer. Die Portionen sind größer als gewöhnlich und geschmacklich sehr sehr gut! Das Touren angebot mit eigenem Office finde ich eine Tolle Umsetzung

Sehr enttäuschend!

Gute Lage in Flores und gutes Hostel für Leute, die Lust haben auf Party und Trubel.

Es war permanent super Laut im Hostel, das Essen sehr teuer und nicht besonders gut. Es war zwar praktisch, die Touren gleich im Hostel zu buchen, aber wir wurden angelogen, es gäbe keine Essensmöglichkeit in Tikal und wir sollten uns bitte für 75 Quetzales ein überteuertes Lunchpaket kaufen. Die erste Station die wir dann auf der Tour angefahren sind, war ein Restaurant in dem man sehr günstig frühstücken konnte. Die Preise waren sehr hoch für Essen und Trinken im Restaurant verglichen mit anderen Hostels und es war wirklich unglaublich laut im Dorm. Ich glaube, dass es eine andere Erfahrung sein kann, wenn man ein Privatzimmer bucht.

L’ambiance est super! Je recommande l’endroit très fortement.

La réception, le premier soir à l’arrivée a été plutôt froid…. Parce que je ne parlais pas espagnol, on m’a dit que je devrais l’apprendre. Aussi, on nous a facturé une surprime de 10% (alors qu’on nous demandait au départ 15%) pour voir, via le site internet de l’auberge, que la surprime devrait être de 7%. On a finalement accepter, le lendemain, de nous rembourser la différence.

Slechte service

Er waren veel leuke zitplekken en de extra faciliteiten zoals de jacuzzi en de pooltafel waren erg leuk

We hadden een bed in dezelfde dorm geboekt, maar bij aankomst vertelde ze ons doodleuk dat we ieder in een andere dorm werden geplaatst. Dat kwam omdat we 2 dagen van tevoren hadden geboekt volgens hun. Maar als we hadden geweten dat we niet in dezelfde lagen (ook nog eens een heel eind uit elkaar), hadden we dit natuurlijk niet geboekt. Ze wilde ook niet meedenken en voor de forse prijs vind ik het een slechte service!

Hôtel à l’emplacement parfait, excellente ambiance et décor très tamisé et agréable pour boire un verre ou manger un petit bout le soir :) Agence d’excursion sur place de très bon conseils pour des visites comme le site de Tikal.

Slechte communicatie, goed verblijf

Het was heel leuk tot we moesten betalen, eigenlijk wilde we dit een avond van te voren al doen maar dit was op de een of andere manier niet mogelijk en moest bij het uitchecken. We hadden haast dus allemaal snel, toen kwam er ineens 15% bovenop als je met creditcard betaald, dit kwam neer op €50. Dit is ons van te voren niet aangegeven door het personeel en ze wijzen er juist op om alles op je kamer te laten zetten. Als we dit een avond van te voren hadden geweten konden we nog pinnen, helaas zijn er vroeg geen ATM’s in de buurt die open zijn 😦. Erg teleurgesteld!!!

Hostel perfeito, tem tudo que o viajante precisa. Sem dúvida o melhor de Flores.

Dos outros ocupantes do quarto que aumentavam a temperatura do AC e as vezes até desligavam. Quem está com frio se cobre, mas quem está com calor não tem o que fazer. O Hostel deveria travar o AC numa temperatura fixa.

Chaotisch

Die Dorms sind sehr gross. Die Tour nach Tikal lässt sich über das Hostel buchen und hat uns sehr gefallen.

Die Klimaanlage im Dorm hat in einer Nacht nicht funktioniert. Es wurde sehr stickig. Ein Mitarbeiter hat uns versprochen unseren Aufenthalt zu verlängern, konnte dies dann jedoch nicht einhalten. Wir mussten deshalb mit der „Managerin“ sprechen, welche sehr unfreundlich war. Nach langem hin und her haben wir eine Lösung gefunden. Wir haben eine falsche Nummer auf unsere Bändchen (Tab) geschrieben bekommen und es gab ein Chaos mit der Rechnung. Allgemein sehr chaotisches Hostel. Aus meiner Sicht gibt es zu wenige Ressourcen für so viele Reisende…

Nice popular hostel with cosy rooms for friends

This was a very cosy and lively hostel - full of young backpackers, big restaurant with a bar and great interiod decor in the middle of Flores island. The room had nice decor as well and had internal terrace (entrance was in the garden). They offered many different tours in Guatemala (a bit pricey) and recommended where to find laundry or orher nice restaurants.

Cleaning could be improved. Restaurant with a bar was very cosy and had nice cocktails but the food quality was moderate (even though it looked good in menu). When checking-in staff seemed slow and we needed to wait until they finally started our check-in.

Destination hostel in Flores

Great location in Flores where you can book tours from. Hostel garden is great and the beds are comfortable. Food also excellent.

Shower was cold and we had a few small cockroachy things in our room but I hope that is a one off.

overrated price ..

nice hang out space with plants and turtles good tours....nice ambience food portions are really big but don't taste too much (I think its a Guatemalan thing) you get a free shirt if u pay cash coffe was really good!! billiard + hamocks but u can also come to chill the day and sleep somewhere else to be honest...

dorms are okay but not the best.... there was no light on the beds, no curtain and no electricity on the upper beds....no lockers in the room but in a kitchen the bathroom was always very wet I think its pricely overrated and expensive... not all the stuff were always nice

Overall a nice stay, met lots of new people and great location. I would recommend

Great location, friendly staff, great place to meet people as a solo traveller it’s defiantly the go to hostel. Lounge areas are great, pool table & hammocks. I would recommend to other travellers to stay here.

The shared bathrooms & only 1 toilet for all people sharing bathrooms. My 1st room you had to go in the restaurant to shower or wash up which you don’t want to do while everyone is eating dinner carrying all your wash gear with you. Make sure to book the dorms with private bathrooms. There was a lot of construction work happening which cornered off a lot of the restaurant but you worked around it. I guess they need to do the work sometime but it did feel abit of a health and safety hazard.

Not a local experience. Disgustingly filthy.

No bed bugs at least

Absolutely filthy bathroom. The most disgusting I’ve ever used. No curtains on the beds, no lockers in the room I stayed in. Overrun with europeans, and not a single person of color in sight. Don’t stay here if you aren’t white and drink beer endlessly. Staff is somehow still kind despite being bombarded by a massive river of visitors

Really cool decor in the restaurant, great food, make sure you get a room with aircon!

No hot water in the showers, everything is done at quite a slow pace. No locks on the rooms and staff walk in a lot without knocking.

Nice hostel but very expensive

Very cool hostel in the centre of town. The deluxe forms are really nice with comfortable beds and great air conditioning. The music from the bar gets turned off around 10pm which was good for sleeping.

Fun hostel

Loved the locations and the hostel. The restaurant and bar were reasonably priced and they were helpful in setting up some things to do in lake atitlan

Overpriced for what you get

Good pressure in showers. Staff were nice.

No curtains in the bunks. Had to walk through the restaurant to get to the showers. Limited kitchen facilities. Not flexible with bookings even if you book tours through them.
