Situated in Del Mar, this attractive house for $797 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Hey Future Guests :) We urge you to please read the entire ad and all house rules prior to booking. This dog-friendly home requires a $50 fee that is per night, and per dog. It will need to be paid after booking this home. Thanks for checking us out. We hope to host you! LOCATION - This beach house resides in Del Mar Beach Colony, a quiet and walkable neighborhood, just one and a half short blocks from the beach. Dog Beach is very close. Del Mar village is a short walk or drive away, with restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Walking distance to Del Mar Fairgrounds (SD Fair, Racetrack, etc). ACCOMMODATION - Sleeps up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms - The large primary bedroom has a king- size bed and an alcove with a full-size bed. Includes a desk, A/C, a ceiling fan and 60” Smart TV. En-suite bathroom with large shower. - The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. Ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower. There is a front balcony with chairs leading from this bedroom. - The kitchen is well stocked and includes a coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, wine refrigerator and plenty of serving platters and dishes - Dining table seats 6 and 3 bar stools look into the kitchen. - There is a guest bathroom with a toilet and sink downstairs. AMENITIES - The beach house has all the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation, including free WiFi, two - 60” smart TVs in the primary bedroom and living room, linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms. - There is a washer and dryer in the garage. - A large slider leads to the private backyard and includes a Weber gas grill, outdoor hot and cold shower, dining table for 6, and 4 comfy Sunbrella chairs. - Beach equipment is provided and includes 6 beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, 6 large beach towels, 2 boogie boards, sand toys, and paddle toys. - The water throughout the entire home is filtered by LifeSource Water. PARKING - You can fit up to three cars in the driveway easily. No street or garage parking. - 220-volt EV charging port. Cable not provided. HOUSE RULES - MAX OCCUPANCY AT ALL TIMES: 5 - QUIET HOURS: 9pm - 9am - NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, NO EXTRA GUESTS THAT OVER OCCUPIES THE HOME, OR EVENTS ALLOWED. Strictly enforced. - THIS HOME IS DOG FRIENDLY: There is a $50 fee per night, per dog. Up to 1 dog allowed. We only accept dogs. Cats are not allowed due to the homeowner's allergies. Please inquire about other pets allowed with our Reservations Department. Please note that on Airbnb these fees are collected after the booking has been paid and someone from our team will reach out to you to collect the pet fee. - VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY: There shall be no video, still photography or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner. Fees apply. PLEASE NOTE! - Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental. - Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs are available at our discretion. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available. - Exterior surveillance cameras are recording video 24/7 - Please note you can occasionally hear some train noise from the coaster because of how close this location is to the beach. - The fireplace is to not be utilized. CANCELLATION POLICY - A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. - Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). - Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.

We were a group of 4 traveling to the area on a golf trip and anniversary celebration. The property was perfect for us. We found it clean and tidy, and also was well stocked. The communication with the manager before, during, and after the stay was always timely and clear. We definitely would stay again in the future.

Great location! Walk to beach, walk to Jakes on the beach. Beautiful! Pros: Nicely stocked with items to cook with, nice patio to hang out, comfortable downstairs and comfortable beds. Cons: no air downstairs so may be uncomfortable in the summer, only two towels for bedroom 2 and three for bedroom 1. Both rooms had two people for 5 nights. Bedroom 1 is spacious, very nice. Bedroom 2 is small. No closet, hung up clothes in the utility closet and in the garage downstairs. Facial tissues only in the downstairs bathroom and none in the rooms. Managed to work around the cons and would stay there again.

Great location. We had electric bikes so not being able to use the garage was an inconvenience. Living room furniture could be more comfortable for watching TV. Refrigerator has a loud vibrating noice. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms are a good size.

Fantastic beach access
Great location & beach access, no huge cliffs to have to climb stairs. Not overly crowded at the beach. Great amenities in the house. We arrived late at night with the wrong code. Had to call a couple of numbers to get someone to give us the right code. A/C wasn’t working, third day up and running. King bed in primary with a double bed. We put our kids in the primary room & took the second room with a full size bed. Full size bed was fine but it needs to be replaced. It moves with you & makes lots of noises. Probably a bad spring. Just replace the mattress! Outdoor patio was great but the floor needs to be power washed, badly. Otherwise if your barefoot, the bottoms of your feet end up black. Also, the upstairs patio lock needs to be checked. My son & I got locked out. Beautifully landscape. Well stocked. We kept windows open (mainly because there was no a/c for a few days) but neighborhood was quiet and loved that we could keep them open. Train didn’t bother us. Fireplace in the living room was nice. We enjoyed our stay there!

Beautifully styled home with an Idyllic location!
We loved our stay! We have traveled to Del Mar for many years to enjoy a week of R & R with our kids but this was the first time we stayed in this home. We are so happy we ventured to try another rental for our stay because this home was perfect. Nice furnishings, clean, beautiful updates to the property, nice backyard space if needed.
We could not park our SUV in the garage due to limited space on the side walls of Garage but we didn't mind.
Our kids are still within age ranges that sharing a room or bed is not a problem so it worked out beautifully for our family of 5.

We had a great time at the beach in this rental. My family of 4 stayed for 2 weeks and the place was well-stocked with pretty much everything we needed, so convenient to the beach in an area that's not too crowded, and an easy 15-min walk to town. One disappointment is we had high expectations from the photos, but they must have been taken when the furniture was brand new because everything felt more "tired" and lived-in than we expected from the pics. I wish we would have known that going in and would have had more realistic expectations. But overall, it was a good place.

Absolutely wonderful!
We loved every aspect of our one week stay in this home. It was definitely one of those "yes - this is awesome" moments when we first opened the front door. I look forward to the chance to stay here again. A few particular things worth mentioning:
Location - The location is phenomenal. It is a short 1.5 block walk to the beach, but being set back from Camino Del Mar means that there is little traffic noise. We heard the train, but it was really pretty subtle and did not bother us at all.
Style - The house is super appealing inside and out. Nice furniture, furnishings and lighting. Lots of natural light from windows in the unit.
Amenities - This house is stocked with everything one could need. Comfy blankets for hanging on the sofa; outdoor fireplace and shower; real washer and dryer; dishes, cooking utensils etc.; outdoor sporting goods such as paddleboards, beach chairs, boogie boards etc. This place literally has everything to make your stay comfortable.
Communication - The management company was proactive in communications. I particularly appreciated the approach to early check in and late check out. They are automatically provided and communicated if available.
Slight negatives. 1. The queen bed in the second bedroom isn't particularly comfortable. Our kids complained about it being bouncy and I agree. Maybe this could be replaced? 2. It's a little awkward to have the daybed in the master. 3. The shower in the second bathroom was kind of hard to turn on and off -- my kids ended up showering in the master. 4. There's a strange smell that's particularly noticeable upstairs. We kept the windows open. None of these things should dissuade anyone from staying at the house.
All in all, a 5-star experience.

This house is run down. Various light bulbs were out when we arrived. Fire alarms were beeping bc batteries needed to be replaced. The house had no cleaning products to even be able to wipe kitchen counters down after use. The house has a moldy smell. All the towels provided also smelled moldy. And it’s right next to the train track so the sound of the train is extremely loud and shakes the whole house. The train is constantly passing all night and all day. The house is walking distance from the beach though which was basically the only redeeming quality.
