About this cabin rental
Located in Qualla, this charming cabin for $149 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to the Toasted Marshmallow! This is a newer 2 bedroom and 1 bath mountainside cabin. Large open fully equipped eat in kitchen. Comfy living room with large screen smart tv and electric fireplace. Each bedroom has a king bed. Bathroom with shower (no tub). Covered porch with a view. Lots of parking. Fire pit with twinkle lights. Pet friendly ($45 non-refundable fee) * 2 Bedrooms, each with a KING bed *Smart TV & Blu Ray DVD player in each bedroom and the living room. Satellite cable provided. Bring your Netflix Password! *Fully equipped kitchen. (all dishes, cookware & utensils provided) *Regular and Keurig type coffee maker. (2 K cups provided) *All linens and towels provided. *Outside firepit with twinkle lights. We do have 4 other properties around the corner if you have a large group. Before you pack up and head to the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it! Dillsboro NC elevation starts at 1,975 feet. Think of this as your starting point. If you want to get a beautiful mountain view, you've gotta climb some mountains. Mountain roads are typically gravel, steeper, narrower and curvier than you may be use to driving. This is all part of our charm. We do have one big hill to get up. It is gravel. We regularly drive a Hyundai Sonata up. While AWD vehicles make everything easier they are not required. Maintain an even speed (10mph) going up and you should have no issues. If you have Traction Control, you will do better turning it off going uphill. *******No refunds will be given due to weather.***** Items NOT provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, items of a personal nature. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and starter laundry items. *****Please note this is a SMOKE FREE property. Ashtrays are provided outside on the porch. If the home smells of smoke, you may lose part/all of your damage deposit for additional cleaning & odor removal.*** NO SMOKING OR VAPING inside the home. *****This is a pet friendly property, however we ask that you bring a kennel for your pet if you plan on leaving him/her alone at the house. We do charge a $45 non refundable fee for bringing your pet. If you are bringing your pet YOU MUST select the pet option at checkout. My husband and I stayed for our yearly Anniversary trip. This was absolutely stunning property. The view is beautiful, easy access, super cute and clean. We could not be more satisfied with our stay! We recommend this property 100%.

Place exactly as described and great place to get away and just relax. The dirt/gravel road leading up to it is extremely bumpy but the mountain view is incredible and the cabin is adorable.

The Toasted Marshmallow exceeded expectations. My spouse and I brought our 2 small dogs for a visit to Cherokee/Bryson city and the cabin was everything we needed and more. The bedrooms, living room, and kitchen were decorated very well, had all needed amenities and was very, very clean. The back porch and fire pit was well lit with outdoor bulbs. This was our favorite spot to hang. I highly recommend this cabin and would love to revisit in the future.

This was hands down the cleanest most welcoming place we have stayed. We felt like we were the very first people staying in a brand new cabin! The hill up was not bad, I was able to make it just fine in a Honda Civic. Great distance to WCU and restaurants and Sylva. Would stay here again!

We absolutely loved our weekend in this cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Movies and games for kids and adults. We loved sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee in the morning. If I could give this cabin 10 stars I would.

We really enjoyed our stay at Toasted Marshmallow! It was very clean and cozy. The view was great and my kids loved the little pond out front. It was stocked with a lot of main necessities such as aluminum foil, garbage bags, paper towels, pots and pans ect. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back in the future!!!!

Cabin was located just a few minutes from town, and the perfect size for my husband, another couple whom were friends, and myself. Beautifully decorated, very clean, and had everything you needed for the weekend besides food. The fire pit with large lounge chairs was great for relaxing, and the twinkle lights gave a great calming light to listen to the cadence of crickets. The mountain view was gorgeous. Communication with the property manager was great. The only thing we had any negative remarks on was only the drive up the mountain. It could use some grating, the rocks were chunky, however, it is on a mountain and should be expected. Wonderful place and I would definitely recommend staying here if you were ever in Whittier or Cherokee!

Beautiful views of the mountains from the bedroom. Lovely garden area with pond. Enjoyed watching the tadpoles and fish. Always such a pleasure to stay at the home of Chuck and Sandy. Our first go-to for all our stays.

Very cute little cabin with wonderful porch and a stunning view. We ate every meal on the porch! Loved the fire pit. Got to hear a symphony of birds/bugs/frogs! Mosquito zapper kept the biters away. Very homey and well-laid out. But only 10-15 minutes to Sylva/Bryson City. Nice to be able to bring the doggos, even if they aren't allowed on nearby trails! We had a wonderful time and hope to come back!

Great scenic maintained property with all the amenities.
Wildlife abundant... Beaver, wild turkey and coy pond was beautiful. We stayed during a tornado warning it was scary but we survived it and the wildfire on the other side of the mountain.
Overall, kudos to the owner. Love our special down time and vacation.

Very tastefully decorated cabin with an absolutely awesome scenic view. It is in a great location that is extremely quiet, yet it is conveniently near grocery stores and easy, close access to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Sylva. There are numerous outdoor opportunities in the area, though we did not take advantage this trip as it was so cold while we were there.
My wife, adult daughter and I enjoyed a much needed, peaceful vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and we prepared most of our meals there at the cabin. Being there right after Christmas day, we loved the Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree.

The cabin was perfect for 2 couples. Absolutely beautifully decorated for Christmas!! Great layout and plenty of room. Kitchen table had unique space-saving swivel chairs that were attached to the table legs. Lots of board games provided and a great firepit.

This was our first time in North Carolina, and staying in a cabin in the mountains as well. I think we made a great choice in staying here. The location was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The owners helpful with any questions that I may have had, and very quick to respond. Our stay at this cabin gave my family and I a lot of new great memories that we will never forget.

Cabin was perfect for our weekend visiting the Polar Express. Having a king bed in both bedrooms was awesome. Kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with essentials. Christmas decorations were up and cute. We made a wrong turn getting to the cabin on arrival but owner was available by phone and quickly has us back on the right track. Highly recommend.
