Nice room with a sea view and a comfortable bed. The room was larger than I expected. There was a good shower and new towels. The desk manager was very helpful. The location is very good - 5 minutes walk to the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque. The hotel is certainly good value.
The breakfast was not great - the poorest of the four similarly-priced hotels on our Turkish trip. With a bit of improvement ( maybe some fruit - there was only watermelon, nuts/granola and some yoghurt, perhaps some freshly cooked eggs?) the overall satisfaction level would go right up. The room had a mosquito problem too, though that is probably beyond the hotel's control.

The property was in a really good central location. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Where this hotel excelled was with its staff specifically Fayaz who is a great asset to the hotel. He was kind, welcoming and gave us lots of advice and recommendations and was just a really pleasant good guy. He taught us some Turkish and really interacted well with my three teenage sons.
The thing that would have made it better would have been different egg options for breakfast. The buffet was good and did the job for us - but the only option for eggs was full boiled. Watermelon was yum!

Thr location is great, very short walk from the sights.
Very unfriendly staff. I paid for breakfast included and stayed for 4 nights. Every morning we would have breakfast. On the 3rd morning when requesting the regular omelette to be made, I was told I would have to pay extra because they are very busy. Its not about the extra money but rather I found it very rude to be told this. Running a hotel and "being busy" is part of the job and then to be told we are too busy. So they are too busy to make breakfast but if I pay more (which i shouldn't have to do because I already paid for breakfast included), if I pay more i can get ahead for the breakfast. Doesn't make any sense.
One man at the reception, dont know his name, was very unfriendly. Never smiled. Very rude when speaking to me, always looked unhappy. When running a hospitality business, this shouldnt be the case.
Also, cleaning of bedrooms was okay, however cups that were there were not changed or cleaned. So if we drank tea in the room, the same cup without being cleaned would be there the next day. Not great when you want to a clean cup to drink from, especially when the room is advertised to have gotten house keeping everyday.
