The overall experience was warm, but inviting. The staff were always friendly, engaging and extremely helpful. I’d like to make a special mention and thank Marco and Safaa whom were very helpful. As well as to a lady whom I have unfortunately forgotten her name but was from Belarus, whom always appeared to go that extra step in making people feel welcomed.

My third year coming back to Hyde - each visit makes me fall a little more in love with the place. Cala Llonga is a beautiful setting and the views out from the hotel are sensational - the blue of the of bay surrounded by the lush green of the hills and, when the sun sets, an inky black starry night sky to marvel at. The Hyde team haven't rested through; the service is hugely warm and welcoming and the vibe throughout the space is bright, buzzy and ever helpful - from the minute you walk through the doors the assistance is on hand to make sure you enjoy yourself to the max; reception, management, housekeeping arrangements all in tune to your needs. Rooms are cool and well appointed and love having the choice of beach or pool available when it comes to relaxing - with the balearic beats pitched at just the right level. Highly rate the new food addition with the Sonrojo restaurant this year - beautiful space, fantastic food and typically attentive service. Credit to Adam and all the team here, am a big fan of what's become one of my favourite places to stay and already looking forward to 2027!

The hotel itself is beautiful and has a really stunning location. Being set in a cove away from the main party areas of Ibiza was one of the main reasons we chose Hyde, and the views and surroundings really are lovely. The hotel is modern, stylish and has a great aesthetic, which is definitely reflected in the photos online. Our room was also modern and nicely designed, and there are some lovely areas around the hotel to relax and enjoy the views.

Unfortunately, for the price we paid, there were quite a few things that let the hotel down. Our first night was extremely noisy due to a beach concert, with music continuing until around 1am, and the air conditioning in our room was very poor, making it difficult to sleep. When we complained, it took around two hours for maintenance to come. The lifts were frequently not working properly, with only two lifts for such a large hotel, and reception often had long queues despite plenty of staff being around. Breakfast felt extremely chaotic and overcrowded, with less food available later in the morning, and we experienced a few occasions where staff were not particularly helpful. The additional €170 charge for the luxury pool and cabanas also felt excessive when we had already paid around €1,000 for three nights, while the other pools did not have enough loungers. We were also surprised by the additional service charges and the requirement to pay a deposit despite having already paid for our stay. Overall, we had very high expectations after seeing the hotel online, but unfortunately the experience did not match the price, and I would not return.
