The hotel is conveniently located near a large beautiful park, the room was spacious, quite clean, and the breakfasts were great
— like in many hotels, the soundproofing is poor — and early in the morning you can clearly hear doors slamming and housekeeping working in the nearby rooms
— no free bottled water provided in the room
— no hair conditioner — only a 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash, which feels odd for a hotel of this level.
— I had a very unpleasant experience with housekeeping and the way the staff handled it. On Saturday at 8:30 AM, a housekeeper knocked once and immediately started entering my room while I was still asleep. Later, at 11:30 AM, the same thing happened again — even though I had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. I was standing in my underwear, and it was extremely disturbing and embarrassing.
When I informed the receptionist at checkout, he showed no concern at all. He did not apologize or acknowledge the mistake, and instead suggested that I should have put the sign up in advance — essentially implying it was my fault.
Accidents can happen, but the complete lack of empathy and accountability from staff made it so much worse. A simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling disrespected and very upset.
Unacceptable experience.
