We enjoyed this site as it was close enough to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse!

Rocki, the park host was amazing! She made you feel so welcome especially when we arrived a tab bit early. She was friendly to us and made us feel right at home within the campground. She was hard at work making sure that our stay was pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!!!

No coffee pot in room or near by... e.i. walking distance. A short drive to the Conoco solved that issue though. Other than that there was no problem with any of the camping amenities

Convenient kocation. Clean room and facilities.

Road noise. Shared bathroom with campground. Bathroom not heated.no coffee pot or location walkable to get coffee.. bed in room way to soft.

We would stay again!

The woman who checked us in was amazing, remembered everyones name in our group and was super friendly and nice! Location was beautiful, we stayed in the cabins and they are very well done and super cute!

wi-fi didn't reach to our cabbin, but it was totally fine with us because we were there to unplug anyways. It's amazing that they even offer wi-fi because many places we traveled near by did not, so this was a plus!

Clean rooms and nice bathrooms

Lodges didn't have a fire ring, not a big deal.

Simple easy to find . Cabins were clean &comfortable. Staff was friendly &helpful. The view was tranquil

The fire trucks around the site can be dangerous 😳 for younger kids. My son ended up hurting his self on one had to get 2 stitches cuz of a head injury on one of the metal things. 😒

it was fine. we only slept there 8 hours and were up and out

the location was great.

did not realize the room didn't have its own bath. had to use the community bathroom. tough after driving 17 hours to get there and it was well after dark.

Rocky, the campground tenant was super helpful! She came to our rescue at midnight when we arrived and couldn't get in our room, turns out we were just at the wrong one and she kindly pointed us in the right direction! 10/10 would recommend!

I would stay here again

The cabin was very nice and clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The location was great for taking in the sites.

The bed was awful, broken on one side and hard to sleep on.

We had an amazing time while in Hill City and the drinks and food at the brewery/winery was great

The Hostess, Rocky, was amazing. She went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

Convenient

It was clean, mostly quiet, somewhat well maintained. They had a fresh water spout. Showers were ok, not great. One of two shower. doors door did not close. Parking was not too convenient. We stayed in Lodge 1.

One of three toilets did not flush consistently. Our room had a distinct odor that did not dissipate in the two days we were there; it was unpleasant. Could not determine the cause of the odor - maybe chemicals used to clean or it was the a/c unit. Window and door were on one side so there was no flow through circulation.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Extremely clean room and facilities. Very clean and respectful campground!

Bars and restaurants near by closed at 8pm on a Friday night and couldn't find a taxi or get food delivered to the campground.
