Prachtig hotel met liefde gerund door fantastisch personeel. Locatie is perfecte uitvalsbasis. Zowel ontbijt als diner heerlijk en met zorg bereid.
Alles was voortreffelijk.

What a delightful stay. I was really impressed by the care that had gone into designing the room and the other public spaces, such as the chill room and the sauna, which can be rented for a very reasonable price of 40 Euros per group for three hours. I tend to prefer older places (urchig) but this property made me appreciate how a modern design, lovingly done, can imbue a place with harmony and serenity. The textiles and furniture such as the chairs were comfortable, yet innovative in design, and the color schemes of cool green, blue, and natural wood, with touches of vibrancy, were artistic without being intrusive. The family that runs the place obviously loves their work and is rightfully proud of what they've built. They are German-speaking but the three adult children, Steffi, Paul, and Johanna, also speak excellent English, and one of them is always around. The breakfast went above and beyond the standard. In addition to the homemade granola and the elderberry syrup-flavored aromatized water, the coffee is served in a French press (so much better)with hot milk, and every morning there's a new homemade treat written on the blackboard.
Also, be sure to try Max's pizza from the wood oven; it's a steal for 12 Euros. The restaurant is closed for dinner on Wednesdays.
The chill room has brand new coffee table books including books on landscape photography, hiking, and cooking, in various languages. I wish I'd had time to look at them. The garden looked beautiful too, and there were lounge chairs that I didn't get to try out.
Hiking trailheads are right outside the door and so is the bus stop. The family is happy to suggest a hike for your tastes and abilities. Almost directly under oour balcony, the Rio Bianco tumbled by, and swallows dove and rose in the air currents. Various outdoor inns (alms) are within walking distance for a chance of pace. The village itself is an easy ten minute walk up the main road. There is not much traffic.
Well, I'm not a fan of caraway seeds, which was in most of the bread. That's the worst I can think of.

Ci è piaciuta la cura, l’attenzione e la pulizia. Lo staff a conduzione familiare fa la differenza. La sauna che si può prenotare anche privatamente è una chicca.
