A great location for easy walking into the centre of Brasov, to the city wall and up the mountain. The courtyard rooms were peaceful and quiet. The rooms and facilities were modern. The staff were most friendly and helpful.
There are stairs to the rooms and the breakfast room: not necessarily easy for the less abled. Please note that Casa Chitic has two properties in the same road: we were taken to the other one first: not a problem but be aware.

It was in a great location and was very clean
The A/C didn’t work, it was much cooler outside than in the hotel rooms at night. After suffering 2 nights and complaining several times they moved us to a different room which they guaranteed “100%” that the A/C worked it wasn’t much better. I’m not sure if it’s a language barrier and their idea of A/C is ventilation, but it was still warm even though the A/C was set on 10 degrees C. I was excited to check out after 3 nights of sleeping “hot”. We live in Florida and are used to being hot outside but we know what air conditioning is and this hotel had NONE. I would not recommend staying here in the summer time.
