Good central location in historic area
Too many "street people" gave the area an unsafe atmosphere...parking was difficult and the valet service provided by the hotel was expensive compared to self-parking options.

Industrial vibe and it was clean
Our room wasn’t ready at 4pm as promised. It was ready at 530pm which forced my family to wait at the restaurant downstairs. We basically spent $80 extra to wait because we had to order something. We almost missed our dinner reso also.
In addition, the AC unit was functioning however it was incredibly loud at night time. My 8 yo was almost wide awake each time it kicked on. Something was up with the temp regulation in the building - older building so I get it but something should be done for the price tag we paid to stay there

We didn’t have breakfast.
Bed was comfortable.
Shower was good.
Room was very dark. One tiny dirty window. Dark walls, dark counters, no light.
Hair on floor.
Small lobby, not what we expect from a downtown, Marriott property
