I loved that I was able to come into my room late at night at my convenience. It was also so simple to find which made it wonderful for a female traveling alone at dark. I was able to park in the back and then get in the door with my code. I loved all the old original walls/ door knobs/ doors and that it had been a house. The shower was super nice (new/modern). I almost didn’t find the commode behind the door so I laughed historically at myself. The air conditioner above my head was an interesting view that I grew to like. I liked that it was also a restaurant. You got a percentage off your bill if you ate there. I had the hugest salad of my life. It was great. And of course I had ice cream for desert! I really enjoyed looking out the window as I ate.
I was a little leery of the air conditioner being above my head, but I know you couldn’t help the layout. The remote didn’t seem to work it, so I stood in the bed and set it.

Location was excellent, right above a restaurant with yummy food and ice cream. Excellent value and very cozy. Staff was very friendly.
My room, the Strawberry Room, faced the front of the building and the Sun rose early, like 5:30 AM, and the blinds did very little to keep the light out. Also, the AC unit sounded like a jet engine running on bad fuel.

I arrived after I said I would. A neighbor saw my efforts to arouse someone and contacted the owner-off site. He contacted one of the long time residents who assisted in my gaining entrance. Room was fine, plain but neat and clean. I never met the owner. I left before the ice cream store opened, which was a disappointment.
I thought the price was high for the overall picture.
