Friendly staff, especially the lady doing the breakfast. Food was good at dinner and breakfast. Great location and very handy for Thruxton Race Circuit.
The downside of being in rooms over a pub is that you’re over a Pub. I think the music playlist finally stopped around midnight. Nice room, but needs some TLC and a deep clean. Stained armchair, cobwebs, not a super comfy bed. Bathroom needs some attention - skirting board next to the shower completely rotten and painted over as there’s likely been a long time leak from the shower tray. I’m sure the floor beams are now rotten underneath. Cracked tiles and dirty/mouldy grout lines in the shower.
