Situated in Crested Butte, this attractive house for $558 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Originally built in 1882, this Crested Butte miner’s cabin turned family vacation hideaway stands out with its prime location and cozy mountain livability. The Whiterock House, situated on a coveted oversized lot, includes two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with two twins that can be converted to a king. There is also a den with a newly added queen bed that is easily utilized as a third bedroom, and two full bathrooms (one on each floor). The second floor sitting area has a convertible sofa that sleeps two and there is a sleeper sofa in the main living room. Enjoy an eat-in kitchen, cozy living room with wood burning stove, washer and dryer, and a sizable mudroom for all your adventure gear storage needs. *Please let us know in advance of your stay if you would like the king split into twins. The Whiterock House embodies the Crested Butte lifestyle by having all your needs within walking distance. Your home for the week - or the season! - is just two blocks from Elk Avenue and Crested Butte’s nightlife, shopping and dining. The free town shuttle, decorated by local artists, picks up across the street and delivers you directly to the slopes for skiing, hiking or biking. We had a lovely stay at 209 Whiterock although my car did get towed the first night because we did not use the back street parking spots right away. The house is lovely with a perfect in town location. Only drawbacks - the dining room table area was a bit tight for us as five adults, the upstairs bedrooms had no dressers or drawers to unpack our clothing during our stay, and the hot tub jets were not very strong. Despite these items, we were very happy and can’t wait to come back!

Our favorite thing about this rental is being located across the street from the town shuttle! The house is very comfortable and clean. The floor plan worked great for our family with a main floor master and two bedrooms upstairs. Having a kitchenette upstairs was also convenient! This home also had a huge mud room that easily held all of our ski equipment (not a fan of leaving it on the porch). Nice attention to details (high end soaps and lotions) and we really enjoyed the wood burning stove. I wish there was a way to upload a picture of our dog laying in front of it!

2 blocks from the Main Street and shops. Cool, old house. The bus to the slopes is just steps away, literally right across the street. One block from Nordic center and skating rink. Really excellent location and great for our family. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of wood for the wood stove. Well stocked all around. Hot tub was excellent after a day on the slopes. Mattresses were really comfortable.
One bad thing is the main kitchen coffee maker is terrible. Needs to be replaced immediately. Seems picky and overall great stay but I’m shocked by how bad this thing is and why someone doesn’t just spend $25 and replace it. Please do that. I thought about just throwing it away and replacing it myself but I didn’t feel like that’s something I should do. Please replace this asap.

This house was perfect for a three night stay with five adults and two dogs. House is beautiful and cozy with a well-stocked kitchen and very nice bath products. The location one block from the Nordic Center and two blocks to Elm Street was ideal. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Whiterock house! It’s a charming and unique home in the heart of it all in Crested Butte. Great location within walking distance of Elk St. We enjoyed walking to get breakfast and coffee in the mornings before hitting the trails outside of town. At night, we enjoyed walking to and from dinners at Slogars (across the street) and other restaurants on Elk. That said, if you wanted to have a home-cooked meal, there was a full kitchen at the house as well. During our stay, we also loved the yard, which has a beautiful garden, private hot tub, and large yard (which our dog especially enjoyed). Thank you, we would definitely love to stay again in the future!

First, the house is quaint in a very positive way. Love having a mud-room, particularly after dusty hikes. The furniture and decorations are great. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc. and spices and ground coffee. Easy walking distance to everything in town - our first dinner was literally across the street. We enjoyed the hot tub a couple of nights. Nicely landscaped yard with outdooor furniture and a babbling fountain. Off street parking. Good communication with the property managers - we had a bit of a check-in hiccup that was no one's fault and they were very responsive - and we checked in on-time. If you haven't been to Crested Butte - a great place to visit, particularly if you like outdoor activities.

We booked our stay to celebrate for a weekend with our small children and loved every second of our stay! The yard is stunning and perfect for the kids to run around in. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own bed. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved the decor. They had everything we could want in the home plus it was walking distance to everything in town! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
(The listing does say cable but there is no cable at the property which posed a small hiccup for basketball finals watching)

This place is just perfect! Location is an easy two blocks to town. Beautiful views and great neighbors. The hot tub outside is amazing. The house is well stocked with high quality items for anything you need during the stay (towels, bedding, dishes, pots and pans, bathroom soaps, etc). We were a group of 8 adults, and everyone loved it! The pictures cannot capture its charm :)

Charming and very special
This house was so wonderful! It had all the charm you’d expect of an older, historic home, but it felt modern and comfortable. My favorite thing was the yard. It was as close to perfect as I’ve ever seen, and now I have yard envy! Im hoping to add a babbling book to my own landscaping at home. The home’s lighting could use work. Kitchen lights only worked one of the four days we were there, and other lights were dim. We had to switch out lightbulbs to use the kitchen table. Ceiling fan in LR is on the verge of falling. But those are easy fixes! I’d definitely stay again!

Pictures don’t do the house justice. The house was very comfortable, very clean and very generously stocked. It has tons of space and the backyard is beautiful. Very conveniently located to the restaurants. Our family with 4 teenagers loved it.

The house was warm and had plenty of space.
Property was great, only disappointed in the steam shower wasn't working, that was part of the reason we booked this place. Hot tub was great, and still had a great time!

Our family had a great time at the Whiterock house. Having the yard for our kids/dog were perfect since our little ones aren’t old enough to be on skis yet. The location was ideal with everything walkable. Would love to go back and stay again.
