Situated in Costa Mesa, this charming house for $529 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Summary: Imagine waking up in your own 3BR Newport home & walking 1 short block to jump in the ocean! Our 1200 SQFT home is located at the Newport/Huntington beach border and is perfect for both work & play. Features 4 HDTV's, WIFI, dining & business seating, full kitchen, AC/Heat in every room, Pack N Play, high chair, stroller, in unit washer/dryer, private patio w/ BBQ, beach chairs & accessories, street & garage car parking, self check in/out, & next door to the nest Italian restaurant in Newport Beach (Cucina Alessá). Live the beach life all year long. Instant book now before your dates sell out! Read more below: The Space: You will have our entire 1200 sqft ground floor townhouse all to yourself. It is the bottom unit of a 2 unit duplex. Our unit is completely separate from the upstairs unit. Bedrooms and Bedding: Queen pillowtop bed in each of the 3 bedrooms. Both living room sofas convert to comfortable full size beds. There is also a twin memory foam rollaway bed (stored in the closet) to be used anywhere in the home. We also have a Pack N Play baby crib and baby high chair so that your baby can live like a local. There are plenty of extra sheets, linens, comforters & pillows. Parking: We have a compact car private garage. Garage width: 16 FT. Height is 8ft. Free overnight parking is also available on the streets in our neighborhood(limited availability on weekends/holidays). There are signs posted about street sweeping on Mondays and Tuesday mornings. Televisions & Entertainment: 4 Smart HDTV's that stream network and cable channels with Youtube TV. WIFI Free WIFI is provided across the entire home. WIFI Speed: Upload 20 mbps: download 200 mbps. (speed will vary depending on number of devices connected to WIFI) Kitchen & Cooking: Full kitchen that comes with many large and small appliances stocked with many of the essentials. Dining Area: Newport Beach built dining table and seating for 6. Amenities: Private In unit washer/dryer. We also provide beach chairs, umbrellas, & beach towels. Cooling & Heating: - All 3 bedrooms and living room have portable air conditioning units. - Every room in the home also has a ceiling fan. - Thermostat in the hallway controls our central heating system. We also have a fireplace in the living room that turns on and off with a switch on the right. Arrival & Self Check In: Via our keypad. You can check in anytime after 3pm. The Neighborhood: Beach Access - across the street West Newport Park - across the street Cucina Alessá restaurant - Next door ABC Convenient Store: - Next door Huntington Beach - 2 blocks away Newport Beach Pier - 2 miles & 6 minute drive. Balboa Pier - 4 miles/12 minutes Amazing neighborhood and town. If you like to surf, head down to The Wedge, which has some of the best waves around. Families in particular will love the Balboa Fun Zone which offers arcade games and carnival-style rides. You may also want to check out the Newport Beach Pier, do a little shopping and people-watching throughout the town, and bike or walk along the oceanfront Newport Balboa Bike Trail. With so much to do - and easy access to other nearby communities such as Huntington Beach and Laguna Beach - you will have the time of your lives! Getting Around: LYFT: The best way to get around if you're not driving is via Lyft. Lyft is an App on your phone that let you order a private upscale taxi and have it arrive within minutes to wherever you are. All payments are automatic and you can see where your taxi is at all times. You can even review the route the driver took, rate your driver, or contact Lyft's support team in case you are not satisfied. Service is superb and costs less than city run taxis. We loved our stay at this property. It is a short walk to the beach, where it was mostly uncrowded and peaceful. The property was clean and even had some beach toys for us to borrow. This would be a fantastic place for families with young children, as it has a high chair, stroller, and pack n play in the closets. We loved it for our grown family to stay as we celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary for our parents. Though the location is only one street over from the highway, we found it to be quiet and comfortable.

With crowded street parking the inability to use the garage was very inconvenient. Upon arrival, the unit was dirty - sand on floors, stains/smells on sofas, portable AC units not hooked up, screens not in all windows, towel hanging up to cover part of master window, dirty bed linens left in hallway in basket. After a few days, front door lock battery went dead and the door could not be locked. Mgmt. replaced battery quickly. Mgmt tried to schedule a cleaning but the crew was a no-show on the 3rd day and offered to come back at an inconvenient time of 8pm.
If the place was properly cleaned and maintained, and garage access was possible, the unit would be a great rental.

We comfortable condo for a family get together. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Owner has staff available to answer calls and address concerns. Plenty of beach chairs and toys. We had a great time. Will rent again as well as check his other properties.

The house was great and very clean but the parking was horrible. My SUV barely fit into garage due to neighbors behind us. We did find parking though. The only other thing was the WIFI was horrible so we connected to our own hotspot.

The property is a little dark and is appointed in a pretty basic manner but it’s clean and has everything you need. And you won’t be inside much anyway, it’s in a fantastic location close the beach, has a great Italian restaurant around the corner as well as a burger place and corner store.

It's incorrectly advertised as a "villa/house" when it is a bottom floor condo with neighbors directly above and others in close proximity. You will hear every chair dragging across the floor, walking, and people constantly talking in front since it's on a busy street. Parking is non-existent, especially on Mon & Tues street sweeping; it took 1 hr to find parking those days. The garage will not fit most compact cars, so you are stuck with circling for street parking. The biggest issue is with the non-responsive management. When I checked in Sunday, I reported the broken microwave right away (which they were aware of), dusty floors (I re-mopped since it was so dirty) and lack of sheets/comforter for the sofa bed and other advertised amenities (detergent, dishwasher detergent). It was silent Sun - Wed, with no followups until I called again after my initial email and call. They didn't attempt to make it right, offer a courtesy credit, or do anything for 3 days even though we were inconvenience, esp in the COVID era where we got a lot of takeout that needed re-heating and had to buy sheets and detergent. It was tough luck that it was broken and I was inconvenienced. There was also mold & mildew in both showers; they finally wanted to come by 3-4 days into my 5 day stay; 1) it should have been checked/repaired before my arrival, 2) we are working from home, and do not wish to be disturbed, 3) we are avoiding contact with strangers as per the Stay at Home orders. Very disappointing for the high price - small, noisy, and very bad customer service.
