Located in Bald Head Island, this lovely house for $690 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Welcome to "FerryTale Retreat!" April & May discounts have been applied. Purchased in June 2020 and remodeled during the fall and winter of 2020, this spacious beach getaway is brand new to the rental market and features the comforts of home with views of the ocean. The house is ideally located close to the beach, clubs and shopping. It is completely refurnished and professionally decorated with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. This home is the ideal place for one or two families or a group of friends to enjoy a memorable vacation together. It has gorgeous ocean views from the kitchen, large front deck and upstairs king suite -- perfect for watching the sunset, moonrise and for amazing evening stargazing. The large, vaulted-ceiling living room and recently upgraded nook offer ample seating and entertainment options. Enjoy dinner out on a third private newly renovated back deck. "FerryTale Retreat" has been professionally decorated in soothing shades of sea blue and grays to help maximize relaxation and bring the beautiful Bald Head Island beach inside. The house features four bedrooms, three full baths and sleeps up to ten guests. The main bedroom suite has a king bed and flat screen tv, as well as an ensuite bathroom, a sitting area with a sofa and desk and private deck with amazing views. The second primary bedroom has a queen bed, flat-screen TV, an ensuite bathroom and is tucked away in the quiet back of the house. This room also features private deck access. Another guest room has a queen bed and deck access and the fourth bedroom offers a bunk bed as well as a daybed with trundle. Closets include hangers and laundry baskets for your convenience. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with all of the amenities you could desire and features stainless appliances. The kitchen is open to an airy dining room that seats eight and a newly remodeled breakfast nook for extra seating, dining and entertaining space. The sunlit living room is open to the kitchen and includes a flat-screen Smart TV and a large space for relaxing with family and friends. The house is well-stocked with puzzles and games. A full-sized washer and dryer are in a large pantry off the kitchen. A high chair and pack & play are located in the pantry along with an iron, ironing board and drying rack. Each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. Starter packs of shampoo, conditioner, body soap, tissues and bath bar come in each bathroom. We also supply starter dish detergent, paper towel and toilet paper rolls. Two golf carts will transport you around the island (one brand new 4-seater purchased in 2018 and another 4 seater that comes with a rain cover). We provide beach towels, all linens, pre-arrival cleaning, wireless internet service and four smart TV's. There are three brand new adult bikes and three new kids' bikes as well. We also have a beach umbrella, two boogie boards, a bocce set, horseshoes, sand toys, a beach push cart and several beach chairs for your use. The large outdoor area downstairs features lush tropical vegetation and opens to a finished spacious mudroom area to hang your towels with stairs to the main floor. There is a newly renovated outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off the sand. Gas and charcoal grills with tools are at the ready for you. If you are interested, you can purchase a temporary Lifestyle Membership to the Bald Head Island Club which offers golf, tennis, a fitness club and a pool, along with casual and fine dining. Pricing varies with time of year. "FerryTale Retreat" is located right off of South Beach Wynd and is convenient to all the island attractions. There is plenty to do on the island - casual-to-elegant dining, several clothing/gift shops, camps, and education programs, etc. There is a full-service grocery store, ice cream shop and take-out pizza. Fishing, kayaking, surf lessons, scavenger hunts, and sightseeing charters are available. Once you visit, we think you will love "FerryTale Retreat" as much as we do! Date of Stay - April 2021 5 stars! We loved the house! It was extremely well organized and decorated. You can tell the owners spent lots of time providing everything you could need. We really liked the beach paintings. We found that the location is perfect, near the beach, the golf course, market, and marina. N. High-end appliances, super-well-appointed kitchen, impeccable décor, a Weber grill, luxurious memory foam mattresses, two great golf carts (but only blocks from a beach access). Great open spaces and comfy bedrooms—just a wonderful place to cool down and mix a margarita after a day in the sun. Highest recommendation here.

We stayed for the week with our 4 adult kids 20.23, 25 and 27 year old with our oldest’s wife. We had the most incredible time together - and Ferry Tale property made it even more spectacular. Close to the beach access, and nice views from the 3 decks. The property was super clean and freshly painted / maintained and not one detail was left out. The owners / managers obviously take pride in their beautiful property. We will definitely book again!!

First Time to Bald Head- Will be back!
Such a wonderful visit to beautiful Bald Head Island. The house is in the perfect location- right in between the Market and the Bald Head Island Club and across the street from beach access. Can't get much better. We loved that the house was a little tucked away and private. The hosts definitely go the extra mile to make sure their guests feel comfortable- the house has everything you need ranging from all your kitchen needs to every board game ever created. The layout of the house is extremely comfortable and everyone slept great.
One thing to note is that the blinds in the bunk bed room don't block any light, so if you have kids with early bedtimes make sure you bring some blackout blinds or it will look like Noon until the sun goes down.
Communication with the hosts was the best I've ever experienced. I highly highly recommend this property and we plan on coming back next year!

The house was very clean and is well equipped in the kitchen, beach toys and games, and plenty of beach towels. We highly recommend this property for any family.

Such an amazing house!
While the pictures online are quite accurate, you don’t really get a feel for how spacious, comfortable, beautiful, and well-appointed this house really is. The master retreat is heavenly. And the location is fabulous! I was terribly sad to leave!
Property management was amazing. We were there during the onset of Elsa, and they communicated with us the entire time. Wonderful people to work with. Not one complaint about anything, other than our stay was too short.

We discovered BHI as we were looking for somewhere special to celebrate my sons graduation. We rented Ferrytale Retreat for five days. The house exceeded expectations with cleanliness, amenities, space and location. Edie and Katie were very easy to deal with and extremely responsive to questions and issues. I highly recommended considering this hone. We left BHI with great memories and will definitely be back.

This rental was very clean and extremely well appointed. You name it in the kitchen - and they have it. Tons of games for the kids. The space made it easy for a family to have a nice vacation and provided an upper level master bedroom with an ocean view patio and a bath with a great, big renovated shower. Hosts were organized and responsive.
