This property is in an outstanding location, with the Edinburgh Castle visible from the kitchen and bedroom windows. The location is just brilliant!
The kitchen and bedrooms were clean and nice.
The toilet/bathroom door wouldn’t close properly and the shower door is insufficient so the bathroom floor gets soaked.

Great location. Easy to find. Good space and facilities. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits.
Communication clunky eg sent an invoice for the wrong property, sent another in German - twice. Property a little tired in places, makes it difficult to look clean eg corners of the bathroom. Cobwebs in high ceilings.

Location, view, easy checkin
Needs some improvement in bathroom and kitchen - kitchenware was too old - pans are teflon and all scratched cant use as it is unhealthy. For bathroom washing hand is difficult as there is no space btw tap and sink. Bathroom door cannot be locked. Expectation from guests to remove rubbish was strange - even not clear where to put it.

Location is very good for the castle and the royal mile.
Heating didn’t work on first night and as the apartment is in an old building it was cold. Drafts coming in through the windows. My sons with special needs got unsettled because of the coldness which is a trigger to but one of them into an epileptic seizure had to get them into bed and I found extra quilts to put around them. Which one of them had a blood stain on and a hole in it. Message jovy the next morning and they did message back put with questions. Eventually after a couple of hours they said they would have to speak to the someone and they would get back to me. In the meantime my husband had discovered he could put it to manual but because of that we were then left with no hot water so we couldn’t get showered. I eventually I got a call from someone at 5.30pm that evening.
Also apartment was very very dusty. Dust on walls lampshades beside lockers. Very dusty behind beside lockers seen this when plugging chargers in. The boards at the bottom of walls next to floor were rotten in places. Some holes in walls. The bathroom was unclean I had the wash around the toilet.
In the kitchen living area toaster but didn’t work sofa seat very old and dipped down in the middle. Also uneven lose step at front door could be a safety hazard.
Overall apartment could do with a deep clean all over and a good tidy up.
Apartment is in a great location to all.
