It was a pretty good location. The air con was good and the beds were comfortable. The small balcony was convenient for drying wet towels etc. The snorkeling company associated with the hotel was excellent.
Firstly, the pool which we paid extra on a bagpackers budget to have was broken for the entire duration of our stay. We didn’t receive any forewarning of this and received no compensation which I think is unacceptable. Secondly, we had to ask for toilet roll every day because it wasn’t replaced when the room was cleaned (which was a minor issue but it meant we were left with no toilet roll at times).

Nice location walking distance to main area of Caye Caulker. Room was fine with AC and quiet.
The bed sheets were badly stained with marks all over, need replacing.

The staff were so professional and helpful. We had an incident with a horrible crazy old lady in our dorm and they dealt with the issue so well.

I guess you pay for what you get, but the whole hotel needs renovating. The dorm mattress had metal poking me while I slept, I physically shaked when the person on the top bunk moved, shower pressure was like a drip. It was a very uncomfortable stay and I had a lot of sleepless nights.
Also not their fault but the sargasm weeds stank like hot farts and eggs in the whole hotel, thank god the dorms are at the back but it still stank. Didn’t use the pool area once.
