The location was fantastic, and the bed was very comfortable. Also the minimart on site was very nice

Everything was good with this property, except my checking experience initially.
When I arrived, an adolescent boy was at the front desk and he didn't know the checking process or spoke English. After few minutes of frustration in both parties, he called his mother and thing went smooth then on.

The Caye Caulker Beach Hotel is a budget-friendly place to stay. Having a room with the small balcony would be best.
Pros:
Well maintained building
Clean
Roof top patio
Centrally located
Convenience store located on ground floor
Cons:
Single room very small (bed, fridge, shelf & tv. no window nor balcony)
Not mobility friendly (50 steps to the 4th floor)
English is second language for staff so communication awkward at times.
It is a decent, inexpensive place to stay just don't expect any frills.
