Enjoyed my quiet stay here. Owner was laid-back, but also able to assist me with what I needed. The bar area was cool, with a fridge/freezer I had access to, plus a sort of kitchen. And peaceful! The room was basic and bathroom too, with a cold shower, but so is the way in this area, and it's justified for the price.
Good location for anyone wanting to hit Uppaveli beach. Also worth checking out the Commonwealth Cemetery nearby, for some peace and reflection.
The hostel is under development, but has potential, and will be the place to be next season, no doubt!
No mosquito nets. I didn't have an issue, but could see this being a problem for some.
Otherwise basic, but fine!
