The subway and show me exactly where I needed to go. Who does that!!! This place does.
Only slight complaint was the toilet seat wasn’t the right one and slide sideways always. A bit of a moldy smell was in the bathroom but they had an air filter that we plugged in in the bathroom.

The hotel is very well located, right next to the train and bus station and a supermarket with various restaurant options. The staff is also friendly and the local restaurant can be recommended. Overall a good hotel to stay to be close to the city but still have a quiet place to sleep.
The rooms were not so clean, there were bugs in the bathroom. Also, it was not clear that one has to announce for the room to be cleaned.

Cleanliness upon arrival
This was my 3rd stay at Abasto Munich, and it was the last one. My previous 2 visits were completely different positive experience, which leads me to believe that changes in staff and management may be the reason for the significant decline in service.
Firstly, upon arrival between 9-10pm,I had fever and asked for a simple hot drink coffee/tea, but the Greek manager of restaurant responded rudely, stating that the coffee machine was closed and no hot water was available. While this was already unbelievable, it wouldn’t have been a problem having a kettle in the room, as there was during my stays over the past 2 years. The removal of this amenity was extremely inconvenient and unacceptable considering the price paid.
Secondly, accessing the restaurant on the premises for a drink was consistently impossible. On New Year’s Eve, between 12-1am, I simply wanted to have a beer. The staff responded in a hostile and arrogant manner, stating that it was a private party. It appears that guests can only have a drink in the restaurant if they are on a specific list, which was neither communicated in advance.
As a hospitality professional, working in front office as well, I find it absolutely unacceptable to inform guests that the restaurant is “private” and to be unable to provide something as basic as hot water or a hot drink.
Lastly, room cleaning was never provided during my four-day stay, despite requesting it twice at the reception. Once, I also placed “please clean the room” sign on the door, which was clearly seen by the housekeeper on the floor. Nevertheless, no cleaning was carried out, reflecting a complete lack of attentiveness from the staff.
