Located in Shaver Lake, this attractive house for $385 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Wood paneling and an exceptional game room loft set this home apart - and give it a unique cabin feel! The large windows help bring the beauty of the woods inside. Everyone can prepare breakfast together in the well-equipped kitchen, then enjoy it in the dining area or at the breakfast bar. A regular and Keurig coffee maker are each available at this home. Better yet, why not bring it out to one of the decks? Grilling is always an option at this home. This home is in the Granite Ridge neighborhood, full of lovely pine trees! The town of Shaver Lake is just over two miles away. Be sure to visit the Central Sierra Historical Society on the weekends, just three and a half miles away. Shaver Lake itself is just over two and a half miles away if you're going the way of Dorabelle Picnic Site. THINGS TO KNOW This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Security camera details: This home is equipped with three exterior security camera with listening capabilities: one is facing the garage area, one is on the back porch facing the neighbor's house, and one looks over the back side door toward the forest area. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Location is great only a few minutes away, very clean, all questions were answered immediately! Really enjoyed my stay.

Is beautiful and the cabin is very warm and comfortable. The only problem was that the beds are very uncomfortable and hard old spring mattress and I will definitely need to go to the chiropractor today so I was unable to enjoy myself on this trip but made the best of it . Clean and stocked other the bath tubs could use a deep cleaning found mold in downstairs shower.

Couches should not count as a bed, showers didn’t drain well, fridge was dirty, towels didn’t smell fresh, handrail on stairs was broken, neighbors to the east very noisy late in the night. Nice place in a good area just need to address fine details, home owner was on sight when we got there, very nice and accommodating, vacasa not so much,,,,

Loved loved loved this cabin rental-great location-big and spacious! Very clean! The only down side is hot water for showers runs out too fast-could only take two showers every two hours-we had 7 guests...but would definitely rent again :)

Cabin clean and comfortable, as advertised. Nice area in the back for little ones to run around among the trees. Not supposed to cook while on vacation, right? Enjoyed using the Wolf range with griddle.

I loved the cabin and the snow and that we were able to use the garage it was really nice the deck is beautiful and it is plenty big for a large group. The beds are old and uncomfortable and the oven was not cooking well and really hard to get on and figure out how to use. But we had a good time even if. We didn’t sleep.

Beautiful home in the trees
This is an exceptional house located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was very clean upon arrival, fully stocked kitchen (except for wine glasses), very roomy with lots of thoughtful details and decor. Loved taking an early morning walk and utilizing the trail system that is located throughout the Bretz Mill sub division.
*Side Note: Even though the house does not have A/C, it does cool down at night in mountains. There were fans provided in every room and several box fans. If you know how to exhaust the warm air in the evening and also close it up (including drapes) before the heat of day, the house remains fairly cool.

The owner is very friendly and greeted us upon arrival as they do the cleaning themselves to make sure the home is perfect for each guest. The kitchen and bedrooms are all of ample size, and the garage was a nice bonus to hold our 23’ boat. I gave this place 5 stars because I wouldn’t change a thing. Very peaceful and relaxing, there are even walking trails just behind the home.

This was a very nice cabin. Looks like they just did some remodeling. Nice big drive way for a truck and trailer. very comfortable and hommie feeling. the cabin has a bunch of really nice kitchen supplies, looks like newer furniture . i would rent this cabin again.

The dining table is huge, seats 8 but we were able to fit 10 comfortably. There’s also a nice forest area around the house for the kids to explore. Not far from town or the lake. The only thing that bummed us was the no A/C as it gets pretty hot, especially upstairs. Would be perfect for a winter stay though.

A Home Away From Home
In searching for a cabin getaway for the family, I instantly loved the layout of this cabin (Deer Haven). Booking was easy, the day of our trip, I received an email with instructions on entry to the cabin. When arriving, we were blown away. The high vaulted ceilings made it feel like a mansion getaway, but at the same time it felt cozy and warm. The kids ran to pick out their rooms while my wife and I just stood in awe of the beauty of this cabin. They had everything we needed for washing clothes, washing dishes, they had cookware, spare blankets and even board games for the kids. We we all surprised at where we were. The cabin is close to a nearby trail where we did a morning family hike (easy-beginner), and there were lots of areas to explore. My kids took their scooters and bikes to ride on the road as well. The BBQ grill was perfect for outdoor grilling and there were too many places to sit and drink a morning cup of coffee! Overall, we all had a great time and absolutely LOVED Deer Haven! The quality and decor of this placed showed that the owner invested a lot to have guests feel welcome. I can say, we will DEFINITELY be back!
