This property is also less than two miles from the Museum of the Sierra and less than 20 miles from Balsam Meadows Sno-Park, Coyote Sno-Park, and the China Peak Mountain Resort, making this charming getaway the perfect home base for a fun-filled ski-cation during the winter months! On the lower level, make your way into the well-equipped, open-concept kitchen with all the accessories and appliances you need (including a double wall oven) to prepare everything from your morning coffee to full-course dinners. Dine together at the adjacent table or head out to the large back deck, fire up the gas grill, and indulge in an alfresco experience with an evergreen forest view! Back inside, switch on the gas fireplace and relax in the ground-floor living area, or head upstairs to the media room to stream your favorite TV channels, pop in a DVD from the media library, or shoot some pool. For the creative members of your party, you'll also find a craft room brimming with supplies. THINGS TO KNOW Maximum occupancy is 10; sleeps 6 adults comfortably and 4 children. Streaming TV services require guest accounts to access. While chains are required in vehicles in winter, a 4WD or equivalent is recommended. This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. This house was perfect for our large family. It was close to everything we needed, and the pool table was hit. Would definitely recommend.

The house was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return. They didn’t have any trash bags, but all I did was sent a text and they were delivered. The kitchen was stocked well all that one needs.
