A three-bedroom, 3½-bathroom townhome with two living areas — generous space that comfortably accommodates larger groups or two families travelling together. We didn't use it, but having two kitchens (main floor and basement) add rare flexibility for self-catering.
Free private on-site parking — one of the most valuable amenities in Washington DC, where parking is limited and expensive. Two cars fit comfortably.
A car is necessary to get around, but the main DC attractions are reachable in 20–25 minutes — manageable for a group with their own vehicle.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine.
Towels, bed linen, and paper products provided.
Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout. Two large flat-screen TVs for entertainment.
Cookies and a soda greet guests on arrival — a thoughtful touch that sets a positive tone from the start.
The floors creak loudly on both the first and second levels — this is the property's most significant issue, and the main reason for the overall rating. Every movement is audible throughout the house, disrupting other guests regardless of the time of day or night. For a group stay, this is a genuine and persistent inconvenience that affects everyone.
The garage is accessed via a narrow alley that is permanently cluttered with rubbish bins and waste containers — an unpleasant and at times awkward approach, particularly with a larger vehicle.
The sofa is very uncomfortable — a notable shortcoming in a property designed for larger groups who spend time relaxing together at home.
The property is in a residential neighbourhood in Southeast DC and a car is essential — public transport connections to the main attractions are not practical for this location.

This property was the clearest.
It was beautiful. A true luxurious DC townhome. Everything we needed was already in the home. The owner was exceptional

The water pressure was abhorrent. But, that's a city issue mostly.
