About this house rental
Nestled in Broadkill Beach, this lovely house for $325 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This house is a 2 story apartment. This listing is for the top floor with the best views. Elevator means handicapped accessible!! No need to carry everything up 3 flights of stairs!! Beautiful master bedroom with gorgeous views of the bay from bedroom and living room. Master bath provides a state of the art shower with bench seating built in and amazing shower panel. Additional 1/2 bath also available. King size bed in master bedroom. Day bed (2 single mattresses) located in the living room, Air mattresses provided as well. Open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. Fire place for winter intimacy. Fully stocked kitchen, grill on the back deck and sun porch for dolphin watching!!.Outside shower to rinse off when returning from the beach!! Many people enjoy fishing here!!! Washer/dryer, dishwasher and WiFi available. Conservation Wildlife Refuge view from front of the house. Quiet, quaint small town with corner store for your convenience. What more could you want or ask for while on vaca?!?!? Come visit!!! The constant question I get is "how close to the beach" is the house located. Well it is literally a 2 minute walk out the back door. Please bring your own bath, hand and beach towels. Clean linens will be on the beds upon your arrival, but no access to spare linens - so bring your own if you feel you will need them. My housekeeper also has a linen service if you feel you will need that. If there is an amenity that has been offered and available for your use, and when you arrive it is not working - I will call the appropriate person to fix. You MUST be responsive and available (if necessary) for the technician to come in and fix the problem.

Easy access to Rehoboth attractions without being in the middle of the craziness of the DE beach towns in the summer. Well equipped and designed with guest's safety in mind. Access to the bay beach was a little tricky; you need to be relatively agile as there's no boarded pathway to the water, just a path then a drop off about 6 feet down.

Donna is a lovely host. The house was clean and spacious. We had an emergency and needed to leave early. Donna graciously refunded us for the days we couldn’t stay. She didn’t have to do that. She went above and beyond. We would definitely stay again in the future

From start to finish, this beach house was perfect. Donna, the owner, had excellent communication which made everything easy. The house was clean and exactly as listed. The house is a short walk to the beach which was clean and not overly crowded. We went into Rehoboth and Lewes as well and the drive was short and easy. We plan on returning in the future!

The unit is very well stocked with everything you need, including binoculars. I had to work 1/2 days and there was a great computer work station in the Sun room with all the connecting cords I needed. Wi-Fi was strong and fast. The beach was beautiful and we had it mostly to ourselves. The Prime Hook Preserve is a must see!

This property was clean, spacious and easy to settle into. The master bedroom is large with an ensuite bath. Lovely. The owner is friendly, helpful and available. For those who want or need it, the elevator is a boon.

This house was such a treat! The house is decorated beautifully. The views of the canal as well as the bay are spectacular from the decks. We loved the recliners in the living room and the king bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked for any meals you want to prepare. The elevator was a joy, no lugging up and down the steps. Plus our older dog doesn’t like so many stairs every time we took her for a walk. There are a multitude of kitchen, beach and bath towels as well as so much extra bedding, pillows and air mattresses. There is a cute little fenced in yard of sand under the house for little ones to play in. There is a whole closet down there with plenty of beach items, including chairs. You are so close to the beach, barely a 2 minute walk just across the sand. The dogs are always welcome on the beach and we had it mostly to ourselves. It almost felt like our own private island! Donna is a great host. She checked on us multiple times during the week to see how everything was going. Having a huge TV in the living room and another one in the bedroom was very convenient. We hope that the top floor is available for the week when we come back next year. We had a lovely vacation this year ❤️

Property was clean and well kept. A lot of room to move around and not feel crowded. Plenty of dishes, utensils and everything you would need. Very well stocked condo. Only concern would be lack of sleeping room for any adults, but kids would love the air mattress., Overal a solid 10!!!

I wish there were more then 5 stars , our trip was absolutely amazing , Donna was great from start to finish ( answered my thousand questions lol) , the house is beautiful , clean, spacious, very well equipped with everything you need . The views are amazing less then 2 min walk to private beach , it's the perfect place very peaceful and quite . There is a cute little store at the beginning of the Broadkill road , Good food and has some grocery items . Rehoboth is just about a 15 min drive . Me and my family are already planning to stay next year . You will not be disappointed in booking this house

Great place to rent!
Apartment on 3rd floor had everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. Master bedroom is large with an amazing shower in the bathroom. Two entry ways to balcony where you can read or enjoy the sun coming up. Walk way to beach is quick. Outside bathhouse is great to clean off all the sand from yourself and beach accessories. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. Owner always available to answer any questions you have. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone and hope to return next year!!!

We had such a great time at Broadkill Beach. The location is wonderful - so close to the beach. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked - it had everything we needed! We had a couple of questions for our hostess and appreciated how quickly she responded. We can't wait to return!

Perfect location/Beautiful Views
We loved our stay! The views and location were much better then expected. The apartment was very nice. The kitchen has everything. The shower was awesome! My only problem was you can really hear the people below. Could even hear them coughing at night.

We were able to schedule our vacation to coincide with the annual horseshoe crab spawning and this year participated in the horseshoe crab survey right there on Broadkill Beach. The house is positioned between the salt marsh and the beach, so we had an amazing variety of birds to watch and added a bunch to our birding lifelists! The walk to the private beach was about a minute and we had a wonderful time on the beach as well. The house is beautiful and well equipped. You can't go wrong here!

Relaxing stay
The space that we rented was very bright and airy with tall ceilings. The bathroom was huge and there were many windows and sliding glass doors which provided views of both the bay and canal. Elevator was a real plus and recliners were electric which is a bonus for those with physical challenges. Checking process was very easy and owner very responsive.

Donna was fantastic! Very responsive and helpful! The place was just perfect for our family of 5 and our doggos too. Very well stocked kitchen, so that even our Thanksgiving dinner was no problem at all! Seriously, there is even a gravy cup!

I will miss the views of the water, and the blue heron that seemed to camp out in the creek across the street. Oh, and the fox that lives on the dunes! 😊

Location & View
Location and view are great. Good place to relax. The property is listed as multiple people, the apartment is spacious, however only one bedroom. The living room is not comfortable to watch TV since a daybed is one of the furniture pieces. I was a little concerned when first entering as the entry and hall are in need of a coat of paint. With that said, we did have a nice time and like I said the location and view are great.

The deck chairs staring out into the sound was amazing; in the morning with a cup of coffee... reading g a good book in the afternoon and nice drink after dinner... spent just as much time out there as the rest of the apartment! This 3rd floor apartment is quiet, clean, and peaceful. The view of the bay is great and the beach is lovely. As a family of 4, we had plenty of sleeping spaces and the directions for the house were easy to understand.

Broadkill Beach is our new go to place
We loved Broadkill Beach. The house was larger than expected and very clean. Just steps to the beach where we took long walks with the dogs several times a day. Views were terrific. Would love to go back soon.

Unfortunately this was not the relaxing beach getaway I envisioned for my family. Check in day and day 2 were met with frustrations which included waiting for an Xfinity service guy to repair the cables to allow for the TV to work (which he was also delayed from our appointment time). While we didn’t come to watch TV, my 2 year old wasn’t feeling great and also having a 5 year old, we needed something to occupy them while we were unpacking and cooking dinner. As frustrating as it was to give up several hours of my vacation, Donna was fantastic and very responsive. She was extremely understanding and even credited us a day due to the inconveniences which were even outside of her control. The house itself is much bigger then the pictures show and we had plenty of space. It was a great setup and the beds were comfy. Huge bathroom and nice shower (very convenient with the kids). The view is amazing and the elevator is a necessity you didn’t know you needed- it was great! The house was clean at the surface level but could use a deeper cleaning and we were stuck folding towels that the previous guests used. My biggest concern/disappointment was the beach. It was super close to the house (didn’t need shoes), the water was warm and very calm which was also great with young kids. Best part was that no one else was on it. We would set up our canopy and get ready to spend the whole day there and within an hour we were literally being attacked by massive green head and black flies! They were relentless. Used tons of bug spray, even the real strong deep woods kind and it didn’t matter. Never experienced flies like this at the beach. The Xfinity guy even warned me but I thought how bad can a few flies be. The only way to get away from them is to spend the entire time in the water. Also- we were told that beach chairs were available for use but there is only 1 true beach chair and it is unusable (rusted and the seat is so worn it just sinks into the sand). The rest are captain type chairs. Wouldn’t mind bringing my own but we were trying to pack light. Overall I would say this is not an ideal place for couples or families that plan to spend the entire trip on the beach during peak season. I envision this to be a great trip during off season or for other reasons such as bird watching or fishing. The horseshoe crabs were also very exciting to see on the beach, just wished we could have spent more time on it. We actually left a day early! :(
