About this house rental
Located in Louisville, this charming house for $239 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to Kentucky! Our enchanting house has 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths and an open layout. The home is clean and very well-maintained offering lots of natural light and neutral paint throughout. Additional spotlights: a dream theater room, bar, game room replete with game table, pool table, bar stools and walk out patio. A full gym with weight machine, treadmill, and elliptical and even an old school scale. 3 car garage and double wide driveway, large level yard for games and fire pit for marshmallow roasting, a large covered deck for relaxation in all Kentucky weather! The main floor has a great open floor plan that allows family and friends to enjoy themselves from the kitchen, breakfast nook, or living room. The primary bedroom is off the kitchen with a queen bed, large walk-in closet, and full jacuzzi bathroom. The first floor also has one full guest bathroom, washer and dryer, and two bedrooms both with queen beds. All rooms are equipped with Smart Roku TV's. For safety, the fireplace in the living room is shut off and not operational. The lower floor has a full bathroom and the entertainment of the house. Down the stairs: the bathroom is to the left, the full exercise room is straight ahead containing the weight machine, treadmill, elliptical, and even an old school scale. To the right is the cozy game room with a dream theater room, full bar, and room replete with game table, pool table, bar stools, large screen tv, small gaming TV, and walk out patio. Enjoy the back yard and huge covered deck! The back deck is right off the kitchen and includes a seating area. We do not allow parties / events as the property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. No pets allowed! Please Note: No pets allowed! This property is not childproof. There are items within the home that may not be toddler friendly (glass table, board games with small pieces, etc.). *The Doublewide Driveway is shared with the detached garage occasionally used by owner. Please double check your dates before booking. We will not edit reservations as we have had several issues with that process. If you need to make changes, you will have to cancel and rebook within your cancellation period. Nice house on a beautiful lot. Lots of things to do inside and outside of house. Had a great fire pit with lots of wood accessible for an evening fire. Game room downstairs had lots of games and amazing theater room set up. Residential neighborhood with highway and train noise but it didn’t stop us from having a great stay

Great house! Three couples stayed for 3 nights as home base for our annual bourbon trip. Made a fire in the fire pit one night, had plenty of wood (brought our own fire starter material). Grilled steaks one night (brought our own portable grill). Watched football games Saturday night on the two big screens in the basement. House was well-stocked and very clean. Would absolutely stay there again.

This home was perfectly located far enough out of Louisville to relax but close enough to get to where you want in just a few minutes. Home was perfect for friends to come together and enjoy a few days of trail hopping and nights of fun and food.

We had a great stay at Buckner Retreat while in town for our daughter's wedding. The house offered plenty of space for everyone to have their own space and fun gathering places for us to be together. We especially enjoyed the pool table and other entertainment in the basement. The home is located in a great location on the northeast side of Louisville in a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

This property is beautifully appointed and a perfect place to spend time with friends and family! We came for part of the Bourbon Trail and the movie theatre was perfect after a day of walking. The neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet.
Nothing to do with the property but if you are wanting to partake in the Bourbon Trail, be sure to book those tours well in advance.

My family and I had an amazing time at this beautiful Buckner property! We were in town for the Kentucky Derby, and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house suited our group perfectly (5 adults + 1 toddler), and was just as advertised. The basement game and theatre rooms are amazing, and the big beautiful yard was awesome for my daughter to run around and play. The neighborhood, though fairly near the interstate, feels very remote and secluded, and both sets of neighbors are extremely friendly and welcoming! Thank you very much to the wonderful host for the great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Me and a few of my teammates stayed at this property. Wonderful place, great offer of amenities down to condiments.. All the needs of being home in a great neighborhood. House is getting older and could use a few upgrades, Jet tub didn’t work. And toilet handle mechanism broke day of checkout… Thanks for the stay!

The Buckner location was perfect. Close to the main roads and an amazing restaurant if you love true Mexican cuisine! The hospitality from Shareka and the Buckner were top notch! Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of linens. Very clean! We greatly appreciated the garage access for our vehicles! They have thought of everything here! You could easily visit for an extended period of time and feel right at home. This was a short business trip for us but we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Shareka and the Buckner. We will be back. 😊

Associates working on a nearby jobsite 4 days per week have comfortable sleeping accommodations and more than adequate cooking opportunities after spending 10 hours a

We happened to arrive after a very large wind storm that knocked out power. Thankfully the garage doors worked to let us in, and the owner was quick to bring us flashlights and candles. Power was back on next morning. How was great and as expected. Will stay here again!

We loved this property! It is in a nice quiet neighborhood away from the city. Our family spent a few days here over the Christmas weekend and we loved it. It is spacious and has a great basement area full of many things to do. We stayed here when the big winter storm came through and we never ran out of things to do at the house. We wish we could have stayed here during the summer to take advantage of the back patio and firepit. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

The house was much better than anticipated! The only issue we had was not having the front door code easily accessible when we arrived (our fault). I called the property owner and she responded immediately. The communication was great!

My husband and I evacuated his 90 year old parents from the hurricane that hit their home in Florida. We needed a spot for my brother-in-law and parents to converge with us before they were moved into Assisted Living nearby. The home was warm and welcoming with all the comforts of home, fantastic for all five of us!

We absolutely loved this home! It was close enough to Louisville for us! The drive was short and we did not have to contend with much traffic.
The house itself was VERY clean. It has enough room for your whole crew plus some! The downstairs game room and theater was such a great bonus!

There was plenty of space to be able to speak out and plenty to do on the days when we stayed at home. Grades was good and the ability to eat outside on most occasions was really good. Perfect Place for Our Family
Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Buckner Retreat! The house is beautiful, the yard amazing, and the basement is so much fun for kids and adults. Steve was easy to communicate with and very kind in his responses. I also have to say the pillows at the house were by far the best pillows of any hotel or rental property our family has ever stayed, which can really make or break your sleep quality away from home!

My family was very pleased with the location of the property; very quick to access the expressway. The property sits back in a quaint, quiet neighborhood. The home had most everything you may need for the week long stay we were there, that was helpful! The basement was a great time with the pool table and home theater. We were a bit disappointed that the game in the basement wasn't working but I would never let it deter us from enjoying ourselves. The property was great for the adults and the teen but could create a problem for people with small children. Luckily my littles don't have a problem keeping themselves happy (without electronics) and enjoyed playing in the peagravel around the firepit. They really loved running in the plush Kentucky bluegrass! They also loved watching the newly hatched baby birds that are residing near the back porch. As a family, we all really enjoyed the back deck! We spent most of the time at the house sitting there and enjoying the unexpected warm weather for the week. Great place for a cocktail! The property manager was so great with communication! We would hear back from her almost instantly and the one day she was unavailable she made sure to let us know ahead of time. The Roku in every room was so easy to log into and was set to automatically log us out upon departure.
The location made it so easy to go anywhere in the Louisville area quickly. We were in town for the NASP National archery tournament and were also able to go to the Ark Encounter, Kentucky Down Under, The Main event (arcade/bowling alley) and even enjoyed an Eagles concert at the KFC Yum! Center. All events were within 2 hours of the home which made it so convenient.
We are so thankful for finding this property as it made our stay in Kentucky so pleasant.
