Plenty of space for a family of 6 with full-grown kids! Like most Big Bear cabins, there was plenty of wood paneling and personality. Very comfortable beds, though 3rd bedroom was tiny.
Signs of moisture trouble in the bathroom. There was only one bathroom, like most cabins, which made scheduling necessary.

The grounds were VERY NICE! We didn't spend too much time inside; we walked around and sat outside a lot. Big, beautiful grassy area, fire pit, played horseshoes. The pool area is very nice! Pool was sparkling clean. You can walk to the lake! We walked to the marina. I like the location. Bed was very comfortable. Love that it's dog friendly!!
It's very rustic. I don't mind rustic typically, but the cabin was a little bit run down. A blanket covering the couch, old pillows, dusty windows, a couple of spider friends decided to join us and build a whole web in the bathroom. Lounge chairs in the grassy area were pretty damaged. The porch BBQ needed a deep clean. The price is lower for reasons. It's not horrible, I may go back but felt we overpaid for the little cabin. Also, our cabin was very close to the main road and there was a lot of street noise. They cannot help that, but I go the Big Bear for a more tranquil experience. Glad I tried this place though.
