The apartment was nice and clean, had everything we needed.
Location was great close to shops and restaurants we like.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
You could always hear doors opening and closing in the room we were in, not sure what other rooms would be like.

All of the above. It was spacious and bright and comfortable.
I also really appreciated the kindness of the staff when I thought I had left my key in the room and it was outside reception hours and they came to my rescue and didn't impose a call out charge.
It had a basic gym which I was able to use and met my needs.
There was some difficulty communicating on the phone when I called the after hours number, but overall communication was fine

We had stayed there before and were very happy, so just returned.
At 80 years found the shower a bit hard, climbing into the bath, but when we mentioned it to staff, she said next time to request a walk in shower. Our fault for not asking.

Very close to Deakin University. Lady doing the check-in is actually friendly.
Slightly dusty. I asked for a quiet room and was given a room on the inside. That was fairly quiet…but on two nights there were people sitting on their balcony and talking very loud at 23.30. Sound insulation of the doors is not great. At least not on the inside rooms. Internet was slow at times. The required deposit upon arrival and all the notes in the room that if you break something you have to pay for it, feels a little bit unwelcoming. Just get a decent insurance! Running machine in the gym is broken. Would I book it again? Close proximity to the university…probably yes.
