The breakfast was decent
It didn’t accept cash and they don’t inform you before booking, you can access the kitchen at anytime and the fire place was never on

Extremely kind staff, very helpful and friendly! Room also was clean and had everything we need. Breakfast very tasty, just bit late. The hostel is located very close to the main square and street in Salento, but a bit hidden from the noisy part, which is perfect! We loved the stay, definitely recommending for a stay there
Breakfast could have been planned earlier since man people would like to leave early for the trek in Coccora Valley

Good value for the money, cute decor, warm water, breakfast was ok
room was dark, window directly on the street with no glass, had to close the shutters at all times. People were partying outside next to our room, it was so loud I couldn’t sleep until 3am

The location was in the centre, slthough one block away so you can still have peace and quiet. The breakfast was very tasty too and filling for cheap. 15.000 for eggs, bread, fruits and coffee. Also they let us leave our luggages for free while trekking in Cocora .Apparently you get free coffee all day (which we didnt use as we were out and about) . We did laundry too 15.000/kg and they had dryer. So was fadt and efficient.
First of all the shower was not working for us and that was the deal breaker. There was hot water for literally 30 seconds and then very cold. We did as we were instructed to do but we couldnt make it work. . And salento can be freezing at night. After a long day and you just wsnt a nice hot shower and we couldnt have that. The beds were so uncomfortable. The mattresses and pillows had plastic covers on them that made them so noisy when you move and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I also only had one blanket instead of a real duvet and i got cold. Also they let you pay for cooking in their kitchen. (I didnt cook, just heat up some leftover food and one of the cleaning ladies was watching me and apparently reported to the staff- I did not pay ). We stayed for 2 nights like we have reserved but moved to another hotel for the following nights that had a proper shower and comfy warm beds for the same price. Also it was smelling funny. They cleaned it as you can dmell the cleabing products, but still smells moldy. It wasnt a good experience. Im not sure if the staff were genuinely nice.
