With Lift 7 at Telluride Ski Resort located right in front of the building, this inviting, condo offers a true ski-in/out location, as well as beautiful views of the ski slopes to the front and the San Miguel River to the rear. This is a wonderful skier's escape, where you can leave your car in the heated underground garage, grab your gear from your private ski locker on your way to the lift each morning, and come home to soothe your tired muscles in Cimarron's shared outdoor hot tubs. This second-floor condo is both cozy and bright, with large windows and mirrors that amplify the mountain sunshine, soft carpeting, and comfortable furnishings. Toss the day's clothes in the private washer/dryer, fix yourself a hearty snack or a mug of cocoa in the full kitchen, and head outside to the balcony to take in the view of the expert Coonskin and Milk Run trails. Take an easy stroll or shuttle ride into the heart of downtown Telluride for dinner, and come home to play cards around the dining room table and watch a favorite DVD movie or cable show on the living room's TV. When it's time to turn in, you'll find a king bed and another TV in the primary suite, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. This ski-in/out location at the base of Lift 7 is ideal for those looking to leave their car in the garage and explore Telluride on foot and by free shuttle. A stop for the free Galloping Goose shuttle is right outside, circling town every 10-20 minutes with stops at the gondola and along Main Street. You'll also find ski rentals and sales for lift tickets and equipment on-site, the River Trail that traces the San Miguel River right out back, and the Telluride Valley Floor - offering miles of groomed Nordic trails and a small bike park - adjacent to the property. The best of downtown Telluride - including shops, restaurants, and bars in one of the most picturesque settings in Colorado - is within a half-mile stroll as well. THINGS TO KNOW As part of your stay with Vacasa, you will have access to the clubhouse. This facility is located in the heart of Mountain Village and is complete with ski lockers (limited availability & by request), on-site concierge services, free Wi-Fi, and coffee. There is no elevator to reach this second-floor condo Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 2. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). In town for Telluride Blues and Brews Festival. Location was within a mile of festival venue so definitely convenient. Place was clean and comfortable; plenty of room for 4 of us. Parking garage was a plus.

Very close to ski lift! Perfect ski out/ ski in location! Very comfortable condo with plenty of space! There were 2 great humidifiers to make the air very pleasant. Also, they had 3 small fans to dry wet ski gloves etc.
They supplied many nice items including coffee filters, salt, pepper, seasonings etc plus they even had a welcoming small bag of ground coffee.
Everything you needed to make the stay perfect! We will definitely rent this wonderful condo again in the future!

The flat was well appointed and clean. It is located right by the lift and a short walk from the gondola and the town center.

This unit met our needs very nicely. Clean and comfortable. An easy walk to downtown. Appreciated having a parking garage. Check in and out was very efficient. For those who want to cook, the kitchen stove and cookware need a refresh.

The condo is pretty much as advertised and we love Telluride. So, all good on that front. Alas, we encountered a few glitches while there:
1. As we were there for an extended stay, we needed a vacuum. We could not find one and thus, called vacasa. Instead of telling us where to find the vacuum (it turns out that there was one), they worked with owners to buy a new one. This was nice, but took over a week to happen and the floors were pretty gross the entire time.
2. Kitchen - cookware is not for folks who like to cook, even a little. I tried to bake something and grunge in the oven set off the very loud smoke alarm. On top of that, when I pulled the oven rack with my dish on it out to remove the dish, the rack tipped toward me and the entire dish of piping hot food ended up on my bare shins and the floor. Turns out someone put the oven racks in upside down...
3. The toilet broke, which is not a biggie. Vacasa reached out immediately to see when they could repair it. As I was out hiking, I did not get the message and thus, did not approve the visit. Meanwhile, vacasa decided to fix it without my approval. My teen son awoke to find a stranger in the house. He was very startled and a bit frightened. Not cool. Vacasa should have gotten my explicit permission so that I could have warned my son.
4. We couldn't figure out how to use the not at smart TV (despite being pretty good at that sort of thing usually). Took vacasa a week to send someone over to show us how all of the remotes worked. Would have been nice just to have had the instructions from the beginning.
5. The instructions about the door lock were not correct.
6. We were all suited up to use the hot tub, but the code didn't work. An hour later, we had the right code, but were no longer suited up for the hot tub.
Any of these items alone would not have affected review, but together, they definitely dampened our enthusiasm. do with the information what you will...

Easy walk to town and both markets and restaurants close walking. It was very quiet.
Kitchen had minimal supplies, pans were fairly worn. Sign at door says remove shoes. After two hours white socks were filthy, all floors need a deep cleaning.
Location is adjacent to River Trail, great asset.

Convenient, clean and cozy place to enjoy Telluride. I was thankful for the new humidifiers in each room for us southerners. My only recommendation is to replace the mattresses that are worn, otherwise the place has everything needed for an enjoyable trip.

Good condo but bad communication with property manager

Great stay in Telluride!
The property was fantastic, it had everything we needed for a short vacation. It’s also within walking distance to everything you could possibly need or want to do while there - and a short walk to the free gondola to check out mountain village! Hoping we can come back and check it out in the winter!

Great condo by river (fun to tube in summer) with easy 5 minute walk to town/gondola.
Really enjoyed staying here! Loved the location in the town of Telluride. Really pretty along the river! Trail path goes along river for a quick 5 min walk to town. Added bonus if you can't park in garage (our roof carrier made our car too tall) there is a free daytime parking lot located right beside the condo!
Additionally the hosts were very easy to communicate with and immediately responded to any questions!

This is a very convenient property for a ski in/out experience.
Great access to lift, convenient underground parking, ski lockers etc.
Unit is directly above community hot tub which is also very nice.
I would give this property a 9 on a ten point scale.

Ski Retreat!
This condo was very comfortable and clean. The location couldn't be better. Everything worked and the indoor garage (heated) was fantastic as we were there for skiing with lots of snow on the ground. Beds were comfortable and owners were easy to work with. I would stay here again.

We will be back!
We loved out stay at Cimarron Lodge! Located right along the river and the bus route, this condo is a short walk to the gondola and all of the dining and shopping. On the days that we didn't want to walk, we would take the in-town shuttle to our destinations. Doug & Liz were fantastic hosts and I am so impressed with their desire to make sure that the guests enjoy their stay. They were quick to respond to phone call/email and we greatly appreciate their help.
The condo is stocked with anything you might need, including the little things like coffee filters & spices, games & puzzles, everything you need to feel like you're at home. Beds are comfy, the condo is spacious, washer & dryer work great. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely try and book this condo when we return to Telluride.
