The hotel is in a good location, as Besiktas is amongst the more high end areas of the city. Breakfast was typical Turkish hotel style, which is to stay quite delicious. They offered plenty of variety, and had seating both inside and outside which was pleasant. On my first morning, I forgot my work backpack which had all of our passports and my lap top in the main hall, and was reminded of this about thirty minutes after having left. I called reception very worried, however they had retrieved it and very kindly returned it to my room.
I booked a room for three adults, and I was told on the reservation that I would get a "Queen Deluxe Room" with three beds. Judging from the name of said room, I assumed that It'd be one in which three grown adults could comfortably stay in. I was completely mistaken however, as the room was so small that even two adults would struggle in it. There was no third bed whatsoever, but rather a medium sized couch where the body of the third person was over half outside! I asked reception if I could be given a bigger room, but they said that the room in which we were accommodated was the biggest one they could offer, and that the couch was 190 cm long (completely false). To add to all of this, they forgot to make the couch, and when we returned to the hotel at 11 p.m, we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to our room and put some sheets in the couch. I found this lack of attention very disappointing.
I would have most certainly stayed at a different hotel if i knew that they sell rooms for three people, even though they cannot accommodate three people!
