- Good location: right next to the highway
- 24/7 convenience store: gas station shop
- has a restaurant inside that is open until 11 pm
- truck driver friendly, very good sound isolation - heard no sounds of cars or trucks outside
- spacious rooms, nicely clean
- free wifi, tv channels
- great AC / air conditioning
- gas station for cars, trucks and EV charging stations
- the beds in one of the rooms had a dent in the middle from usage
- slightly old furniture
- hot hallway, insufficient ventilation in the hallway

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a double bed as requested. Aircon worked perfectly and was much appreciated in the hot summer heat. Wi-Fi worked great without a problem. Breakfast was superb and the staff were marvellous.
We had room 106. The mattress needs replacing. It had collapsed in the middle. Also more pillows were needed. The shower barely works and needs replacing as well. Not up to the usual high standards of Valcarce

The room was clean and adequate. Aircon and room heating were good. Plenty of parking space.
Booking into the room was a slow process, even though much of it was completed in advance. We had requested a double bed and this had been confirmed. However when we arrived we were told that none was available. How is this possible?
The bathroom fittings were tired and needed attention. (Loose shower head, jammed shower thermostat.) The restaurant is closed. It has been closed for some months, no evidence of any renovations taking place. The absence of an evening meal and breakfast facility is a serious problem for this venue.
