Great location, a short walk from the Maria Novella station. Hotel is small and situated on the 1st floor of a beautiful old building. Access is via an old style lift which is so smooth, or the windy staircase.
The staff are very friendly and really helpful.
We booked a family room for two nights and it served us well. Good size room, bathroom was small but fine for us. Comfortable beds and pillows, water in the fridge and kettle with coffee sachets. Oh and a coffee machine!
We were surprised how quiet it was considering the location.
Pleasant breakfast.
More fresh fruit at breakfast would have been nice but overall it was pretty good for the price.

We liked the super friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast and the location
The family room fits more for a family of 3 rather than our family of 5 because the bund beds is normally in the wall, hence you lose space. Difficult to move within the room. Could not sit ‘normal’ on the toilet because no leg space as the small shower is right in front of it. Hotel is on the second level. There is an elevator available for 2 people maximum.

My self and the kids enjoyed how friendly the staff were. The location felt like a local home and it wasn't too far from restaurants and the city. We also enjoyed our breakfast.
Walking up the hill to the hotel on the main road, it was a bit tough but it's nothing that most people can’t handle.
