The location is quaint and whimsical! The decor inside is unparalleled. An assortment of memorabilia adorns the inside coridors. The room was small but quite cosy. There's a sink and a shower cabin in the room. The rooms are also nicely decorated. There is, unfortunately, no toilet in the room, so you have to exit it and go to the communal bathroom on the floor. Really sucks when you need to pee at night. There's a water dispenser on the reception floor that dispenses sparkling and still water. There's also an assortment of teas available for travellers and a tin of cookies. Overall very cosy and comfortable!
The noise at night and almost no soundproofing. Whenever someone closes or opens the door - everything shakes! So buy some earplugs. And the windows have no mosquito nets. I was bitten a lot! Also it is quite tiresome to go to the third floor without an elevator. The shower inside my room was really bad, but I haven't checked out the communal one bc I was too tired after my long days.

The owner was super friendly and welcomed me personally! The room was very authentic and spacious for the middle of Florence. I could walk everywhere by foot!
