Ficamos hospedados com Sophie e Gilles por duas noites e foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Desde a nossa chegada, a gentil recepção, o cuidado com os quartos, a limpeza, e a excelente localização, muito próxima à principal rua de Niagara-on-the-lake, tudo foi perfeito. Sophie e Gilles são anfitriões muito amáveis e acolhedores. Gilles nos auxiliou com ótimas dicas de vinícolas locais e também de outras cidades que visitaríamos depois, o que nos foi muito útil! O ponto alto é o café da manhã preparado por Sophie, que é uma excelente chef de cozinha! Tivemos a oportunidade de experimentar o melhor da culinária local, tudo preparado com ingredientes frescos e muito carinho. Só temos a agradecer pelos dias adoráveis que passamos na Maison de Sophie. Muito obrigado! Altamente recomendável! Quando voltarmos, ficaremos novamente com eles.

Lovely home, many amenities, gracious hosts and exceptional breakfasts.

The breakfasts were different every day and each one was exceptional. The hosts were anxious to please, helped us with our luggage and checking in and checking out were quick and easy.

Our room was cold and there was no thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature.

Superb

The hosts were wonderful - kind and informative and fun to talk to! They also recommended a winery where we had a fantastic time - definitely take them up on their recommendations! The food was delicious both mornings and there was great conversation with the other guests. There were always snacks available and the backyard was a lovely oasis with lots of options and areas for seating. It was a short walk, just a few blocks of beautiful houses, to downtown.

This was our second time back and already looking forward to our next visit:)

Sophie is an amazing cook and puts so much thought, creativity, and passion into her food!! Gilles and Sophie are amazing and attentive hosts. Gilles also fired up the pizza oven and grilled us Sophie’s fruit pizzas which we ate outdoors in the lovely backyard. Breakfasts were delicious and fun!

We absolutely loved everything! Clean, great location. The breakfast was outstanding but the best of all was the hospitality. Sophie & Gilles, the best host I've ever had. They are special. We arrived as guest, we left as friends. Thank you! Merci! Gracias!

Sophie prepares excellent, innovative breakfasts. Our suite was very spacious, lots of room for our stuff. The B&B is a short 3-4 block walk from the Main Street, Queen street, and the Lake Ontario shore.

Sophie and Jilles were outstanding - a great We.

The Owner’s were terrific. Breakfast were outstanding but very rich at times.

The room was very small but a lovely bathroom. A little too far from the Shaw Venue. Pretty price.

Great B&B with exceptional hosts.

Hospitality was exceptional and quality of food was healthy and exceptional. Meals were made with local products and very fresh. Good conversations with fellow guests and hosts.

Perfect

Sophie and Gilles were the perfect hosts. Her house is beautiful and is close to historic Queen Street. Everything is immaculately clean and lovingly decorated. The breakfast was exceptional. Actually there are no words for it. There was something different every morning. It was lovingly prepared using local produce. And it was always delicious. In the evening you could sit on the terrace in the garden and watch nature. There is a lot to see. We would love to come back anytime. We immediately felt at home here.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would be very happy to be back at La Maison de Sophie.

We loved our stay at La Maison de Sophie! Sophie and Gilles were very kind and gracious and made us feel at home. We stayed at the Italy Room with nice decorations. Sophie made delicious breakfast for us and we had access to varieties of tea and coffee. The location was in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood with walking distance to the main street and the lake.

There is nothing that we didn't like about our stay.
