The hotel is close to the train and bus stations and not far from the center either. The staff was very friendly and the early check-in was very much appreciated. The room was decent with several looking glasses and a big bathroom - things that I had loved at the Sercotel in Figueres. We spent one night and slept well. The shower worked really well. The breakfast was a buffet one with some nice offerings such as the juice and the fruits and the cake. We also appreciated the hotel storing our suitcase for a few hours.
Our room was on the first floor and the views were not inspiring. Also the room overlooked the big street the hotel is located on and it was very noisy during the day (luckily we were out most of the day). The breakfast could have been better in some regards, e.g. I didn't like any of the two types of bread. The butter was frozen and impossible to spread on the bread, the scrambled eggs were uninspiring, things like that. Finally, some elements (e.g. some doors and the elevator) in the hotel were old and gave a bad impression. None of this ruined our stay, just minor things that could have been better, especially when compared to Sercotel in Figueres where we had stayed a month before.

The staff were very welcoming, it was clean, the breakfast was good, plus they were very welcoming to two small dogs.

Room was too close to the lift, noise wasn't acceptable, complained and was placed away from lift on my return visit.
