We cannot recommend this property highly enough, we didn’t want to leave.
It feels like your staying in a wealthy friends bungalow that just happens to have wonderful staff. It’s hard to leave the property. Once you have a gin and tonic or tea in hand you could spend hours just sitting in the garden and taking in the view and beauty of this property. There’s a great library and board games. It’s a real flop and drop destination.
The food is outstanding - you must do the cooking class with chef and a tour of the vegetable garden.
A must stay in Ella , we can’t wait to return.

The entire property was beautiful - including the living area, the infinity pool with a stunning view, the room we stayed in - all of it was exceptional. The entire staff was very hospitable, especially Welles who really took care of us, and anticipated our needs and was truly such a joy to be around. We also did a cooking class with Chef Roshan and had so much fun - not only did we learn how to make delicious curries but also had an enjoyable experience.
In addition, we had a tasting menu curated by Chef Isuru, which was hands down the best meal we had during our time in Sri Lanka.
Overall, Kasun and the entire team went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable.
