Located in Geneva-on-the-Lake, this charming house for $385 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Come have fun in the sun! Our 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom cottage sits on a short, private drive between the lake and GOTL Strip, providing easy access to the best the village has to offer. The first space you experience is our welcoming sun porch. Step inside to enjoy 1,600sf of room to relax and enjoy. The entire house has been renovated since 2022, including fresh paint throughout, new tile flooring, kitchen redesign including granite countertops plus added cabinets and dishwasher, an added shower upstairs, and a laundry area on the main floor. The main floor also features a living room with sectional, dining room with seating for 6, stocked kitchen, master bedroom with king bed and attached half bath, and a full bathroom with tub and shower. Televisions are Roku equipped so bring your streaming service logins and passwords! Upstairs there are 4 additional bedrooms, each with queen bed, plus a full bath. Outside is a small concrete patio with picnic tables, gas grill, and fire pit. Shared, private lake access is available at the end of our short street. Guests must provide their own beach towels, chairs, and water shoes (strongly recommended). We ask everyone to be considerate of others. Use is at your own risk. Parking is available alongside the house for up to 4 cars, with free parking available just 60' away on Lake Avenue. Ready for adventure? Look no further than The Strip. Restaurants, music, games, shops, Geneva Township Park, GOTL golf course, Adventure Zone, and Lake Erie Canopy Tours are all within 1 mile. Geneva State Park is 3 miles away and offers access to well-mapped hiking trails, beautiful Breakaway Beach, and a full-service marina that offers seasonal rentals including kayaks, SUP, and jet skis along with fishing boat charters and sunset cruises. More fun awaits year-round: enjoy a chauffeured tour of Ohio Wine Country, visit Ashtabula Harbor, or explore historic covered bridges. Sports your passion? SPIRE Institute is just 15 minutes away. Absolutely NO SMOKING/VAPING is allowed anywhere in the house, including the sun porch. Bath towels and bed linens are provided. Clothes washer and dryer are available (added 2024). For your convenience, we include a starter pack with 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 hand soap per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, trash bags, and basic cleaning supplies. Other supplies are the responsibility of the renter. Bookings are typically a 2-night minimum except for mid-June through August when they are a 7-night minimum. Children are welcomed. No pets. The house was fantastic, more than enough room for six of us. Updated and had everything we needed. We do suggest adding box springs under the mattresses as they are too thin to not have one and it made the beds uncomfortable. The slats holding up the mattresses need to be fixed too so they don’t slide as they were pushed up to the middle of the mattress on one of the beds (so there was no support on the end).

Very inviting. Beautifully decorated. Ideal location. Owners responded promptly to inquiries. Hope to return next year. Highly recommend this property. Due to our visit scheduled off season some of the stores, restaurants and activities were closed for the season.

The Suncatcher was perfect for our family getaway. The property was right off the main drag and was very convenient to shops and places to eat and drink. The property was comfortable. We were a stones throw from the lake and we took advantage of it. Laura was a great host. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed during thunder on the strip, literally steps from the strip so we didn’t have to worry about finding parking throughout our stay. The house is beautiful and close to the lake. Saw a bald eagle on our last morning flying near the lake shore. Will definitely book again.

The Sun Catcher is in a perfect location, right on the strip with view of the lake to have morning coffee by the waves. There is a nice fire pit for the evening and a convenient location within walking distance to anything on the strip. Laura is a wonderful host, honey room for our party of five adults.

The views of the lake from the house were great! It's a short walk to everything in GOTL. It's also a short drive to all of the wineries. Plenty of space for a big group of adults. We definitely would rent again! Hosts were communicative and easy to reach.

We’ve been going to Geneva for many years. We wanted to be closer to the strip so we booked this house. The location couldn’t have been better and the house was perfect. Big open floor plan and everything was clean and worked properly. We rebooked it before we left if that tells you anything.

It was exactly as described in the listing. The house is beautiful and so clean! All five bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen is beautiful and up-to-date. Great living room space too. The location is perfect, so close to all the attractions on the strip. The outdoor space is great with the firepit and grill. We will definitely be back again!

As this was our third stay at this cottage, we were very familiar with it, but found that the new owners had made some well appreciated improvements....and even with an initial "hiccup" everything was great! The new owners were quick to respond and get us a solution ...thank you! (I am hoping that in the future the sunroom off the first floor bedroom) can be reopened...we definitely have used and enjoyed that space in the past.)

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Easy access to everything. The home was great. Big enough that no one felt like they were stepping on anyone's toes. The only two things I would recommend is curtains for the kitchen to keep the glare of the morning sun and blinds for the front porch as the afternoon sun made it hard to sit out there. Other than that we all enjoyed it and will seriously be thinking of coming back next year. Will also recommend using VRBO to everyone we know.

The property was very clean, and other than a small glitch with the keypad on arrival (which was remedied immediately), our stay couldn't have been better. Location was prime.... our little one LOVED the candy store right across the street, and Eddie's and Dairy Queen was less than a block away. Be sure to go to these places. We ate several meals at home. Kitchen is small (no room in cabinets for cereal, snacks, etc.), would be great to have a pantry shelving unit, Dining table was nice for meals and evening games. The porch and side patio were great for rock painting and evening drinks, and of course, the fire pit for S'mores! Extra great pls was the sectional with 4 recliners! So comfy! Nice to have sheets, towels, and starter tp and paper towels provided. Thank you! Enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Beautiful cottage. Well maintained. Very close to the strip, beautiful view of the sunset. Everything in the cottage was wonderful including the welcome basket the super soft comfy couch and the dishwasher. Touch lamps with USB ports were great. Lots of chairs inside and outside for large groups. We enjoyed the fire pit. We used the covered pouch when it rained. Played the games at the picnic tables.
