We had a great stay at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the train station and the heart of Shinjuku, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help.
The only areas for improvement would be the bedding and window coverings. The blankets could be more comfortable, and the lack of blackout curtains meant the room became very bright from around 5:00 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep in.

Staff cannot help with the luggage, I believe it’s their policy.

The area is quite central 12 mins from Asahi juku station and 4 mins to a metro stop . The staff is nice which is always pleasant
I am sorry but the price is way to high and definitely
not fair for the rooms they have. They are very small which becomes difficult if you have many luggages as often happens in Tokyo. The room is not very clean , the washing machine is good but they don’t clean the filters so the leftovers from previous people’s drying cycles come out . It is quite dusty , the air conditioning has possibly not been cleaned for a long time and I had asthma every time we turned it on. They don’t clean the room (only every 8 days) and even after they did so, we still found hair and dust .
Breakfast is nothing exceptional just the basics and overall also the elevators become quite dirty by the end of the day as they are not cleaned often. I would understand if this was a budget hotel but for average 200 euros a night they need to do better .
