About this house rental

Located in Saugerties, this charming house for $224 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Apartment attached to larger 1800s Saugerties village home, own separate entrance. It is less than one block from the center of town, and walkable to various bars, restaurants, galleries, etc. It has all of the necessities for a comfortable stay in this Hudson Valley town. Note: this unit is not recommended for people who have difficulty with stairs because there is a steep twisting stairway. Also, we are very pet friendly so if you’re allergic or don’t like animals then not the place for you. The house is in the Village (town) of Saugerties. Saugerties is near the mountains and heavy snowfall is possible. Please prepare with proper gear, and note that snow removal may not coincide with your stay. Winter Rules: 1. Rates reduce on 11/1 thru March 31. 2. We charge extra $50 a day for heating fuel which is based on 10 gallons of heating per day. Anything less will be refunded on checkout. No charge for electric heat. Since we are in a rural mountain environment, please be prepared for many indoor and outdoor critters and insects. We do our best to rid the unit of spiders and other bugs don’t be too surprised if the very determined bugs in Saugerties make it into the unit. We do remove them on each cleaning but drain flies are common and little fruit flies near windows. Again we remove these and regularly exterminate but they are a reality of life in the area. Any interaction with these insects that are native to the area does not qualify for any refund or compensation. 1. Very pet friendly, many guests bring dogs, and a cat formerly lived in the unit. Therefore, this place is not ideal for people with allergies or sensitive to prior pet guests. 2. There are two units in the house but there is not a connection between our 2 units other than between two external doors. 3. Longer term stays are possible, but access to the unit for mid term cleaning is required for stays over 1.5 weeks. Late Check Out If available, $25 extra fee until 5 PM Pet Policy 1st Pet = $50 per stay 2nd Pet = $75 per stay More than 2 pets requires pre-approval and requires $200 per pet per stay

This was a beautiful home that is very conveniently located. We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful fire pit area, but the weather did not cooperate. We were a bit surprised that there was no microwave, but that was not a big deal. The only negative I found was the lack of window treatments in the living/dining area. I found it a bit hard to fully relax.

Perfect place for a stay with my daughter and my pups. Walking distance to just about everything. The coffee shop steps from our front door was our morning visit and a little further down the street the partition bar with live music was perfect for an evening cocktail! Will definitely be back

My mom, sister and I came for the field and supply market fair in Kingston. We searched for places to stay and luckily found this listing which was perfect for the three of us and we got even luckier with the location! We could walk everywhere and the parking spot in the back was super convenient! Highly recommend

Lovely quaint house with 2 large bedrooms and an ample kitchen as well as a great backyard. It's in a great location right near the main stretch of Saugerties and has everything you need. Steven was super kind and helpful. Would stay again, 10/10

Comfortable and clean. The site had everything I needed to feel at home for the week I stayed there. I will likely stay here again in the future. Walking distance to coffee shops, pubs, eateries, and only a 2 mile walk to the Historic Lighthouse. Check in was simple and straightforward.

The property is a 2 bedroom apartment that is clean with comfortable furniture and beds. One note- it is on a very main road that gets very loud at night it was pet friendly and very clean. Our goldendoodle had a great time.

We had a great time walking to downtown Saugerties, exploring the local hikes, and enjoying the backyard. The house was great, with a modern kitchen and plenty of space did us and our two pups.

Had a perfect stay- beds were incredibly comfortable and decor/furniture was stylish but unpretentious- really cute and comfortable. Great location close to bars cafes and bookstores- whole town is very dog-friendly and lovely to visit. Would definitely book again.

We very much enjoyed this newly renovated home. Very comfortable for 4 adults. The check in process was super easy and the parking off street was fantastic! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted in Saugerties and was a great central location for our drives. I would say it’s all on the upper level. We were under the impression it was split between two levels. My mother doesnt do stairs well but we made it work! Also, online it states there was 2 bathrooms but there is only one. But it’s super clean and this was not an issue. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

This home is perfect for a couple or small family visiting the really cool & interesting town of Saugerties. The Hosts are very accessible with questions & advice about the house & nearby attractions, restaurants, etc. It is an old 1800’s home, very clean, & cozy with 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen sized four post bed. Kitchen is very nice with all amenities. No microwave but we cooked dinners in the kitchen & in the Weber gas/charcoal grill. Has a great fire pit with wood supplied by the Host. Also had put two dogs with us. Two long leashes outside by the fire pit. Very nice place for a very reasonable price. Thank you, Scott. We will be back at some point.
