We had a great stay at Il Vicolo, the location was perfect, it was very comfortable with great facilities, had everything we needed and our host was very welcoming at check in, would definitely stay again!
We stayed 3 nights and by the third we found the mattress to be a little hard on our backs.

Manuel was super welcoming, kind and helpful.
The room was great, clean, modern. I loved the spaceful shower. The bed was super comfortable. The location is super centrally and perfect for a stay in Lucca. If I come back I would love to again stay at Manuel’s place.

Breakfast was not included but kitchen facilities were great.
Since we didn't have internet access during our trip it was impossible to contact the host ( who lives 10 km from the apartment). We waited an hour outside the entrance until another group , who fortunately had contacted him, arrived and we could get in. Very long and steep stairs to the entrance would make the apartment unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
