Nestled in Durango, this lovely condo for $167 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** City of Durango Permit #20-243 The fireplace is NOT operational at this time. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo features a full kitchen, and on-site amenities including pool, hot tub and clubhouse. Five minutes to Hillcrest Golf, Fort Lewis College & Historic Downtown Durango. Horse Gulch Trail System 300 steps away. This nicely decorated condo has lots of natural light and is in an excellent location. Main level bedroom with king bed, and nice sized loft has a queen bed. Comfortable living and dining area, functional full kitchen, one full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Washer/dryer in condo, bike racks under the building, WiFi. Stairs lead up to the front door of this condo. The living room TV has both Cable & Roku, while the master bedroom has Roku only. Bed Configuration: Main Level Bedroom - King (Roku TV only) Loft Bedroom - Queen The Ferringway shared hot tub and heated swimming pool are located a short walk away, and the pool deck has plenty of room for lounging. Also at the pool area are multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space for fun and enjoyment without having to leave the grounds. Easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. Hillcrest Golf Club, Durango’s premier public golf course, is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. POOL IS OPEN MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND. A five-minute drive reaches Historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment. Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes visitors to Purgatory Resort and the high San Juan Mountains. Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West. The Fort Lewis College campus is a 3-minute drive away. Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango near downtown condominium is a great choice to stay in a spacious, comfortable, and cozy vacation rental home. Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. Property was warm and cozy but a bit dated. Lots of steps to enter but again was all we needed.
Was clean but fireplace did not work and note to management there are dead birds in it.

So, we stayed for a weekend at this condo and we were unimpressed. The ceiling fan in the living room does not turn off. Contacted the property management company and they did respond and said they would send someone over to fix it. No one ever came and when I contacted them 8 hours later they said that the maintenance crew for this unit said the fan is broken and has already been fixed twice. Also the fireplace is not functional, the light over the stove is out, the shower has mold, etc. The response from the property company is “sorry for the inconvenience.” I would not rent any thing from this property company again.

We found this to be a good location for our activities in Durango and Pagosa Springs. The place was what we had expected, clean and basic. We couldn't figure out the heating/cooling system but were fine without it during our stay. The communication was good, with great instructions. We found an amazing restaurant down the street called Rupert's. The flights of stairs might be too much for someone with physical impairments. We would stay here again.

We visited to attend the Durango Derby mountain bike race. This property was located very close to the venue and downtown so it worked well for us. The bed wasn’t great and the there were lots of stairs but it was still nice for a reasonable price!

The location is convenient to the historic Durango district as well as access to US Hwy 550 to the north and south. The loft upstairs was spacious and overall the unit accommodated our needs for 4 adults. The property management company was also responsive to questions and requests.

I've stayed at a lot of the Ferringway rentals and this was one of the best. Great layout, updated bed and linens and smart TVs with Roku. Perfect!

It was a nice place very conveniently located near Fort Lewis College. The pool was nice and big and convenient.
The communication through text and email was very thorough and helped me through the process of checking in and checking out, very easily. I never found a hiking trail right from the condo, though.

We arrived and the temperature inside was 89 degrees. To our dismay, there was no air conditioning. Looking around at other units, it appeared most everyone had window units. Come on, window units are not that expensive.
The unit was nice enough and the girls loved the pool. But if it’s summer time, won’t book here.

We stayed in condo #23 which, for the daily rate, was about the same as a hotel room in Durango. This condo offered much more space with living area, bedrooms etc. The condo was conveniently close to everything in Durango, yet our of the noise and clutter of downtown. We were very pleased with our accommodation and the several supporting messages that we received from the managers, thank you.

Condo was very clean and kitchen well stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment and dishes. Less than 2 miles from historic downtown area, some very nice hiking trails nearby. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens. 2 short flights of stairs up to unit, spiral stairs up to 2nd bedroom in loft. Grill at pool worked great.

Its was good stay just that foundation of condo isn't level if you put ball in the hallway it will roll toward the bedroom..you can feel gravity pulling you to east side of the building so thats only thing not feel level other than that its good condo

Really great condo for our family of 4. The lofted bedroom/living room felt very spacious. Kitchen well-stocked if you want to cook in. Clean and comfortable. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of stairs, but we didn't have any issues. We came during a snowstorm and the roads were plowed well. Very roomy condo that had enough room for all of our winter gear. Very close to everything Durango has to offer. We will be back!

We were staying for a long weekend while we did some activities and shopping in the area with our 4 and 7 year children. The kitchen was well equiped, something I never find in other places. This was the cleanest vacation rental I've ever stayed in, someone knows how to get in all the books and crannies. The whole place had a very cozy feel, fluffy blankets and comforters, soft lighting, and quiet from outside noise. The only suggestions I have for the owners would be to do something about the squeaky master bed. If you can't do stairs, this wouldn't be a good place to stay; otherwise, this was a great place, close to nearly anything, and super clean. Our family of four loved this rental.

The property was very dated and needed several updates. It smelled terrible. It had no AC, and the maintenance person told me “to just raise a window” if we were hot. The washing machine did not work, so we had to wash our clothes at the laundry mat. The lights flickered as if they had a short and the stove eye indicator light stayed on, as if the eye was still on. Of course maintenance couldn’t fix any of the problems while we were there, and I had to fight and argue with the property owner and VRBO for several hours to even get a discount on our stay. It was absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had, and I will never rent from VRBO or Vacation Rental Collective again. Do yourself a favor and do not rent this property.

My husband and recently visited Durango and stayed here. The property was perfect for 2-4 people with two beds. It was as advertised, minutes from downtown. Communication was great. It you are looking for a no frill, convenient place to stay, this is it.

I'm about 95% sure I stayed here 13 yrs ago when I was 6 months pregnant with my son, so when looking for a condo with my now 12 y/0 I jumped on the opportunity to stay here!
The condo was clean, beautiful decorated, and well stocked with all the essentials and then some. I love to cook and felt completely at ease with all the kitchen gadgetry. Plenty of linens and all condo info was easy to find and utilize (wifi ect).
The only downside was no ac. I came from Phoenix so having a condo that set around 80-85 was a minor inconvenience. Even with fans and windows , we were lucky to get down to about 71 for a few hours early morning . There are some wasps that are building under the patio banister but not a swarm just enough to make me uncomfortable leaving the front door open to cool off the condo.
I would absolutely book this condo again. It has been very well kept and loved. Beds were also extremely comfortable. All the appliances were new or again very well maintained.
The layout was open and inviting . Can't wait to come back.
