We booked this as it was walking distance from the station, about a 15-20 minute walk. Good if you’re getting to the city late or leaving early. Residential area and there are supermarkets and cafes nearby. Friendly staff on reception. Tea/coffee and kettle in main foyer. Basic facilities in small double room. Good shower.

The hostel is in a lively, very pleasant quarter, just at a 7-minute walk from the line metro station L5. From there you can easily reach the Sagrada Família (about 20 minutes), and enjoy Spanish real life, instead of staying in the very city centre, usually overwhelmed with tourists and heavy traffic.
