The property was beautiful! The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were so lovely. The breakfast was really lovely.
There was no bin in the bathroom which was annoying as I needed it for sanitary products. It was advertised as having a private beach which is true but it is at another property which is quite far away and you have to drive to which costs 20,000 TZS. This was a very nice place but I think it should have been made clear in the listing.

We had a wonderful stay, even though it was only for one night. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the city center and close to everything. The food was absolutely delicious, and we truly enjoyed our experience. We would definitely stay here again.
The only issues we experienced were that there was no hot water in the bathroom during our stay. There was also some noise from the generator, but this was due to a power issue affecting all of Zanzibar and was not related to the hotel itself. Another small inconvenience was that it took us some time to find the hotel entrance, as the exact location and entrance were not clearly indicated.

The room was cleaned every day and fresh flowers were put on the bed which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our time at the balcony but for some reason lots of ants came in the evening.
The pictures here sadly don’t represent the reality of this accommodation. The pool is very small and it was not cleaned regularly and it didn’t have enough water. The bathroom was the worst! Shower and toilet are very close together so everything is wet when you take a shower. It was clean but in bad condition. The breakfast is very very basic, you practically eat the same thing every day. The fruit was cut into small pieces so it looked bigger on the plate. The prices at the restaurant are outrageous, 13.000 TZS for a beer, a bootle of water for 8.000 TZS. We went to the 5-star hotel near by for the day and the drinks in food were cheaper there. We stayed for 4 nights but we regret this decision. We think this accommodation is good for short stays (2 days) where you are out and about for the whole day and you basically just sleep at the hotel. It’s definitely not a good choice to have a relaxing holiday here.
