I was expecting we were going to stay in a room with veranda and a view as I believe I chose a room with that amenities and paid extra. Either way it was a good day, good location. Thank you

To be honest, I spent only a few hours at this hotel, arriving around 9 pm and leaving before 7 am the next morning. However, everything I experienced during that short stay met my expectations.
The front desk staff was very helpful and even arranged a takeaway breakfast for me since I was leaving before the included breakfast service began. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet lane just off the main road, yet it is within easy reach of the main attractions of the Old Quarter.
My room was small and there wasn't any proper luggage stand and I had to use the small stool which was possible only because I was carrying a very small suitcase, there was tea/coffee-making facilities and the bathroom was nice and relatively spacious. The only significant issue for me was the pillow, which was simply too thick. As someone with some neck issues, I found it uncomfortable and could not sleep well. This is something I often wonder about in hotels— why provide such thick pillows as the standard option? Guests who prefer a thicker pillow can always use a thinner one, but those who need a thinner or softer pillow cannot comfortably use an excessively thick one. Ideally, hotels should offer pillows of different thicknesses so guests can choose what works best for them.
Apart from this, which unfortunately affected my sleep, I liked the hotel and found it to be a good value-for-money option.
The pillows were too thick for comfort.
