The location and amenities were great. We stayed in the off season so the price was fantastic for the location.
Needs updating, repairs and cleaning. Pool/hot tubs and beach area were nicely kept but the 2 queen tiki room we stayed in was barely cleaned. Floors were so filthy we had to wear shoes just to walk around, honestly don't even think they were cleaned at all. The first night we stayed when I was drying off from the hot tub I ran the towel across the floor in our room......it wasn't completely black but definitely wasn't a white towel anymore. It was gross. At one point I eventually threw the sheets on the floor so we could walk around the room without having to wear our shoes. 😂
The toilet was very small and needed a new seat, the bathroom door got stuck every time we shut it making it really loud when opening, smashed bugs on the walls all over the room (I don't have a problem with bugs but I assume housekeeping should wipe the walls down at least), plug on the lamp didn't work, light behind the TV was consistently flickering if left on, not very many place to out things in, stains on the sheets, hair in the shower, microwave is ancient. Just needs a lot of TLC and better housekeeping!
